@PoePanda & ZombieWinter:

That is correct. Zelex uses the regular M16 thread as well for silicone as for TPE dolls, so mix & max is mechanically not an issue. The same applies to all (life-sized) dolls from Jinsan factory - no adapters required.

However, as usual for all hybrid configuration between different brands and/or manufacturers, issues like skin tone matching and material compatibilty remain.

Both brands should use a 16mm bolt. No adapter is probably necessary.

What adapter would I use to connect a WM head to a Zelex TPE body?

@Jets Fan: If HR did not change their connector recently, you do not need an adapter. It's M16 on both sides.

Do you have an adapter for an HR doll head to a WM body?

An Adapter to put M16 heads onto XYcolo bodies it not an issue, it can be done on short notice.

If there is any interest I might prepare that shortly.

Some destinations( such as the U.S.) cannot be usefully served at this time though due to prohibitive transport cost( unless you wish to pay for it, that is).

Kind regards.

Something like this, if it works accurately enough, could return things pretty close to normal.

My guess is: Since we still can not ship small packages at affordable costs to many destinations like the U.S., there are not so many potential customers, so motivation to invest in un-sellable products might not be too great.

(By "affordable costs" in regard to adapters or Indigo's Care & Repair products I mean: freight costs << than product cost. At the moment it's the other way around.)

If Corona dissapears tomorrow, everything will return to the old normal soon. But if the Chinese virus stays, it will have permanent consequences for international trade.

Xycolo is popular right now. Any plans for an M16 head (WM, YL, Ordoll) to a Xycolo body adapter?

Both ends are 'female', so mechanically chances are good, as long as both connector types are stable and don't change due to manufacturing tolerances or 'optimizations'.

Would it be possible to make adaptors for Sinodoll heads to fit to XYcolo bodies?

Hi a follow up to my above question

I just ended up sanding the inside of the adapter to make it fit and now it works perfectly

Here are a few pics of it just on the DS neck spike then the head attached to the body.

BTW the head is a SM #21

Hi

Does anyone have a pic of a M16 head attached to a DS doll body using the adapter?

I just got one today and it fits into my (SM silicone head) but it's not fully connecting on the DS neck pin. It stops right on the groove of the neck rod

Thanks

This is a very late reply as I usually do not look here, but I hope it still helps.
I am sorry but have not seen an AS doll with my own eyes yet.
From what I have seen on photos, the neck connector looked like M16 but I may be wrong.
If it is M16, then in general it is possible to put such a head onto a DS body, however, that said, there is a possible issue with the high spire on the DS neck and a possibly shallow depth into the thread on the M16 head.
This may result in the head not properly seating onto the neck.
Hope this helps.

Just wondering - AS Raven was voted the best new head in TDF 2018.

Wondering .. does Dollworks have an adapter between AS Head and a Doll Sweet body (and others)?
