From my experience, I wouldn't even concern myself with loose joints. Every doll I've ever ordered, which was from SM and WM, I've specifically asked for loose joints, and every time I've been told my request will be met. NEVER happens. Anything will be said to sell a doll IMO.

Single without doll here. But I've had a doll, then torso legs, then another doll, then another set of torso legs, then another doll, then an upper torso, now I'm less than a week away from getting another set of torso legs delivered. At 60lbs these next torso legs will almost be as heavy as a doll.

I think you can make a list of options, then detail what it would take to complete each option. After that, you have more of a concrete idea of what option looks most appealing to you.
