Re: Spraying liquid latex with a cheap pressure sprayer??

RK the nozzle looks big, about 2mm across. When i take the nozzle off, there is a secondary 'nozzle' underneath with two holes pointing sideways, also about 2mm. There is a small filter on the end of the suction tube, so i'll remove that. Latex is only about as thick as paint, i think so long as i d...

Re: Making a Doll With Dremel 3D Printer

I also use Daz 3D and I have happened to print off an entire figure as well as my other one I am currently using. Can you give me some links as to making molds with a 3D Printer? I have looked into it a few times and it seems that it would be more cost effective and use less material to print off t...

Spraying liquid latex with a cheap pressure sprayer??

Hi folks, i'm about to try the old trick of covering a mannequin in latex, peeling it off, and making my own doll. I don't fancy brush painting it on, and i can't justify buying an expensive spray rig, so i wondered if one of these might work. Apparently, they produce a nice fine spray after a good ...

Re: Making a Doll With Dremel 3D Printer

This is a great project, and something i am looking into myself. However, i intend to use Daz Studio rather than Makehuman, as IMO they make much better figure meshes. Also, a much simpler way to do it, would be to print a MOULD and cast the figure into it, rather than printing a figure and hand mak...

Re: is hollow breast good?

Hi jsai, The problem I see with using water would be with mold/fungus/bacteria growth - especially if it's warm Maybe mixing the water with some anti-bac soap would fix that - - or maybe just fill the breasts with pure anti-bac soap, cheap enough to buy and it's almost like a runny gel. jsai, are y...

Re: "Painting" More Detail onto TPE DOLL using TPE Glue and

Colouring the TPE glue with a little food dye may work, but be very careful as TPE glue is a solvent that actually melts the TPE to make a repair. Try it on a piece of scrap first. Making templates and sponging it on very sparingly may work, just using enough to add colour without melting the crap o...

Re: Applying new "Skin" and Tanning the face on Doll Head

I have a TPE doll, i haven't used her for months as i really don't like the feel of the material. I find it's too tacky, and leaves an unpleasant residue on my hands. I would like to do a similar thing using latex - this would give the doll a really tough and friction-free outer layer. All the tacti...

Re: New 155cm Doll

The face is cute, but i'm not keen on the body - this seems to be most mens ideal body type, but not mine. It's all very well having massive breasts, but what do they feel like? Breasts this big need to have a degree of realism - soft and squishy. The breasts on my TPE doll are as hard as rubber bul...

Re: Sold: Real Doll $500 - Damaged - South Florida,(UPDATE)

I do not like silicone... it is like a bag of potato chips... very strong UNTIL you get a tiny tear in it... then it just comes apart. NEOPRENE... that is where the industry must go... I have been saying that for years... and if I ever get the lottery... I will show everyone. (Needs a metallic mold...
