Just wipe it with mineral oil or petroleum jelly. You don't need to use soap and water, the oil will clean it better without risking mold.

Pipedream's torso has a foam core and a tpr skin which I thought is similar to tpe, so shouldn't you be able to have a foam core for tpe?

That torso also does not have any seam lines. None whatsoever, not even a trace. That would also be a welcome modification for a doll.

Maybe they could make the skeleton out of carbon fibre instead of metal. CF is just as strong but much lighter.
