Re: How to fix those pesky wire hands?

I saw a diagram of a synthetic skeleton hand from a doll company but I can't find it now . It seems like the perfect fix for those wire fingers . If you happen to run across it , please let me know who it is before I try building a set on my own .

Re: POLL: What is the primary purpose of your love doll ?

I recently took a chance and bought a doll from racyme out of china because I could never quiet get comfortable trying to sleep alone . I was frankly amazed by the quality of the TPE doll @158 cm . It rivals some of the high end dolls that sell for as much as 8 times the price . Looks like China is ...

Re: Seperate Mods, Maintenance and Repairs Sub-Forums

TDF reminds me of Linux . It's gooy but tou need to now a little bit about where your going in order to get there . But , if you cant get there all you have to do is ask for directions and you'll get them from a dozen people . TO the TDF staff , , you've done a great job and I trust you all do do wh...

Re: Seperate Mods, Maintenance and Repairs Sub-Forums

I'm for making anything better ...It seems logical if a guest comes to TDF , wheather they know something of what they want or not ( as I was ) they're going to the dolls list with pictures ( we always look for pictures ) and browse through the manufacturers . Only makes sense to tie the builder to ...

Re: B4

Thanks for the input ! since this is a little different from the projects that i've done in the past , i am just looking for viable options that will work . since i intend to start with a head only , i will use a foam head used for wigs and build up with sculpting clay . from there , it may be that ...

So , b 4 jumping on a whole doll , i thought it might be smart to thy something a little more practical and less expennsive . I'd like to start with a head and see how that goes because of the detail and reduced mass . However , most manufacturers don't show how the heads attach to the bodies . I su...

Doll neds home

I received this doll as a scam on a recent purchase and seeing as I can't recover the funds from the seller , I don't want her sitting on the shelf in my garage to remind me of the event . She is approxamately 32 inches tall and cute enough for a plastic doll , and yes she has a insert and can be fu...

need to find a home for doll

As I had a bad experience with this purchase , don't wish to keep her around . She's cute enough but as the purchase was totally misrepresented and she isn't what i ordered and was highly overpriced I can't hope to recoupe my loss and will give her to anyone that will give her a good home for the co...

Re: Giving Away TWO Real Dolls (body 4 and body 2) please r

Not a bad idea ! I recently got burned on a doll puchase and since I'll probably never get my money back , giving it to someone that wants something like that makes sense . I'd still be out the thousand bucks , but , i'm not even going to take the doll out of the box so , good idea . I'll have to ta...
