That's a shame. The last doll I purchased (not a Sanhui) suffered a broken hip after only 3 months due to a broken weld. I feel your pain. These skeletons need to be made better for the amount of money manufacturers are charging.

Just got a doll from SM and had the same issue with the wig straps. It's a real nice wig too. Strangely enough, the whole wig cap is black, but it was just the elastic straps that caused the issue. I just stopped using the straps and used a hairband to secure the wig to her head.

Check out "JB Weld" instead of loctite. If it has to be a quick/easy repair, that is probably your best hope of getting something to hold solidly
