Re: Before I put her in the dumpster... (updated with images

Okay... 10 days later report Her she is recovering rather well. I stopped doing the cold cream and acne ointment treatments a week ago and have been rubbing baby oil on her which has done a lot to help it. In couple weeks it will be almost completely gone if not entirely I'm predicting. Good job! S...

Re: What the hell is this white stuff ??

I think this is the thread I was looking for. See... I have a similar problem with my doll. After the black stain incident (that can be found analyzed elsewhere), I started to apply oil to my doll perhaps a little bit too often. She started to accumulate that sort of white scum, but not only that bu...

Yes, Walmart brand 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne cream.
$3 something a tube, did a side by side comparison with some SE doll stain cream.
No difference whatsoever.
That's really good to know!

Re: Removal of TPE stain with Benzoyl peroxide 10% (acne cre

Good job. I've done this. What brand did you use? There are different products that have BP 10% in them. I seen one guy on here last year saying he used one and it destroyed the TPE I think even if the two have BP 10% they may have other chemicals that are different. I'm curious what you used. I us...

188 is one of the most beautiful heads offered by many doll vendors.

It is already in my wishlist.

And to think that you were about to throw her in the dumpster before some of us turned you onto .10% benzoyl peroxide. Glad it did the trick for you! I tried to avoid here all the drama from the original post, and strictly stuck to a more professional perspective    :haha4:

Removal of TPE stain with Benzoyl peroxide 10% (acne cream)

Hello everyone, I'm presenting here a case of stain removal on a tan skin TPE doll. Hopefully this post will serve for future reference to other TPE doll owners. 1. The Case. Stain occurred on a TPE WM 166 C doll. I dressed her with a black (95% polyester +5% spandex) skirt (brand new, never previou...

Re: Before I put her in the dumpster... (updated with images

Solimentus - only 20 posts and already you're a doll god! 8O Any chance when you have the time you could do a quick write up with the time-lapse of the stain clearing up, and post it in the repair & maintenance thread? Would be a good candidate for a sticky, I think. That way next time someone ...

Now she will look much better in the dumpster  xDDD I confess that I was a bit overdramatic  I was overwhelmed by the situation... I am working on my Stoicism, don't worry. “Lord, grant me the serenity To accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things that I can, ...

Re: Before I put her in the dumpster... (updated with images

Amazing to see how much such a strong stain receded. That's great work. If it didn't I was gonna suggest you do the lemons to lemonade thing and turn it into a "story" for your doll. Give her a paint brush and a painters apron and you got yourself some role play :) In fact the role ...

Re: Before I put her in the dumpster... (updated with images

Thanks for all your messages! @KrinoUFD: one thing I realize reading your post is that one great advantage of my doll was being tan. The lighter the skin (such as in your case) the more dramatic the stain will appear. In any case, we will always need to be really cautious about the clothes we use on...

Re: Before I put her in the dumpster... (updated with images

Greetings Solimentus, Do not lose hope... the stains will fade in time and there are things that can be done in the mean-time that will help. I'm a doll ambassador for UFDolls and in the past year of working with my Mandy I've basically discovered (despite my best efforts) every way possible to dam...

Update: Firstly, thanks everyone for your kind messages, advices and good wishes. I have return with some good news. After 8 days of uninterrupted treatment with 10% BP, stain got removed in a 90%. This is the evolution during these 8 days: 8 days treatmen.jpg As I enjoy doing such nerdy things, I'v...
