Re: Scratches on the skin, but not in a random way..

Based on the shape, could it be a manufacturing defect? It almost looks like a piece of silicone in a crescent shape was added here late in the molding process. How deep do the lines go into the doll's body? Hi, I'm sorry for the late response because I didn't get a notification of your answers. :?...

I second that. I would definitely show these photograph's to your re-seller, and ask for a compensation. Alternatively you could ask if they can send a repair professional to your address. Surely there will be Irontech employees in the States!

Good luck, hope it will turn out good for you.

Scratches on the skin, but not in a random way..

Hi there fellow Doll-lovers! I have a silicone lovedoll from AK Dolls (daughter company of WM Dolls) and after almost a year of usage, there are starting to occur some scratches on her belly, and also below her neck above the chest. See pictures below. As you can see, they don't seem randomly genera...

AK doll reparation kit without a manual

Hi all, I am a proud owner of a Silicone AK doll for almost a year now. Because she is my first Doll, I had to learn, and get used to how to use/carry/handle the Doll. And also because of the fact she weighs 40 kilograms. So, in all those years of adoration of my Doll, I unfortunately made so...

Re: Got dyed, how to clean?

I have a silicone Doll and had the same issue once. But magically, the stains slowly disappeared during the next days. I'm not sure how it happened, did the dye get absorbed by the silicone? I'm not sure, but I hope this also will be the case with your Doll. And a good advice is not using cheap (and...

Re: Which Doll is that??

Here you go, I've dug out a pic to save you having to trawl through my thread, this is Amy, she is a WM394 head and as I said has a much firmer tpe blend for her gorgeous implanted hair. As such she has more definition then any of my other tpe gals and her skin has a more detailed appearance, altho...

Re: Which Doll is that??

TPE is less durable but it can depend on the owner. It doesn't have as much surface detail and is usually softer. Makeup comes off but this might not be bad if you like dressing up your dolls. Thanks for your answer :) Good to know, because of the high surface detail, I might stick to the Silicone ...

Re: Which Doll is that??

I was just wondering, this awesome Doll is made of TPE, and the Doll I already have is a AK Silicone Doll, and I really love her.
Is TPE very different in comparison to a Silicone Doll? Will there be a disappointment, or is it just really something else?

Re: Third Floor-Lingerie, Sleepwear, Stockings.

Hi all, been a while since my last visit. :) Kim had such an unfortunate accident because a crack occured in her head at the place where the bolt comes in. So, I had to order a new head.. but a much stronger head now, with this new ROS system. I had to wait 8 long weeks for it! But now she's finally...

Re: A little maintenance: Caps installed for feet bolts

Very impressive solution, writing this one down. Compliments for you find. Great idea !!!!! I've spent forever covering foot bolts with 'anti-rust' duck tape whilst she's in the shower being washed down. For this problem I can also advice to use (fitting) shoes with a rough sole, like boat shoes if ...

Re: body wash for doll cleaning

My reseller advices to use a showergel without additions, like fragrances or perfumes. Example is 'Neutral Shower gel 0%'. My doll is silicone and this soap is perfect.
Use babypowder afterwards, use it on all her body and rub that stuff in. She will be like new (and soft).

Goodluck!

Just wanted to say Hi, and introduce you to Kim.
As you might see, Kim is a bit of a nylon/lace girl..

Oh, and this thread is just awesome by the way! It's just fantastic what you guys/gals create and present, my compliments!

Re: I heard a crack, moving the head.. :eeek:

Thanks so much for your answer. And yes, I also was considering a replacement. But you talk about an old head design? If I want to buy a replacement, how could I tell if it's a 'new' head design, and what is the difference? IMG_20230627_173401.jpg These are the 2 heads that I own from the same manu...
