I've taken the plunge! (pre-nuptual)
This is my very first post here. because I just sent off the order form and check for my first RD (I also E-mailed Amanda @ Abyss to let them know it's coming (excuse the pun)).
I am one of those guys who have never been lucky with Real Women. Only four in fact have ever shown any semblence of interest in me; one played with my heart, two with my head and one for my wallet (very successfully, I might add).
By my mid thirties I found I just wasn't interested anymore. Hell, for two years after my divorce I hated women, the entire frakking species! A condition I'm glad to say I have since gotten over. But even now in my fifties I find I have no urge whatsoever for romance. But enough about my tragicaly laughable love life...
About eleven years ago I discovered the Real Doll website. My first thought was You Have Got To Be Kidding Me! But secretly I've always wanted one. Well, a month or so ago I came into a reasonable inheritance, I'm not wealthy, but it's enough that I have a few dollars left over. And you guessed it, I'm finally getting my wish.
She will be a B6, face as yet unknown as she will be built from supplied photographs. When I know which face they will use, or for that matter if they even can create a reasonable facsimile, I will update this thread with the news.

I'll bet that your pretty darned excited, as well you should be.
A custom face to go with your girl? That should be very cool. I do hope that you have a good camera and are ready to share pictures of your new girl when she arrives.
If not...you've got time to go camera shopping.
That's great for you.

*I no longer have Jenna or Melissa.
As to her being the "image of my dream girl". I am not Lars Lindstrom . She will be a teddy bear, a body pillow, the afforementioned "photographic still life" and a totally overboard piece of movie memorabilia mostly. But I'm not going to start taking her to dinner or the movies with me
The face won't be custom. I sent photos and asked them to create the best match with what they've got. As for my "dream girl" I would have preferred a black doll, but after eleven years I have given up on any hope that they ever will mold a face with real African features. Angela #10 comes close with the eyes and lips, but still falls short on the nose and cheekbones.
I love women who are petit, both in stature and figure, so a B4 would have been my first choice. But I don't like the way 4's arms are connected to her body. From the pictures in the RD gallery she is absolutely devoid of anything resembling underarms, instead the way they attach to the torso reminds me of the old "Gumby" dolls. At least The six has armpits, Even if they aren't as well defined as they should be on an "athletic" body (yeah, that is a kink of mine, I'm not ashamed! LOL)!AlexKnight wrote:Congratulations on your order!!

Congratulations on your up and comming happyness,...
I myself am blessed with a B4 and know just how good they are,...
My next girl will be a B6 so I feel realy happy for you.
Good to know photography is not going to be a challenge for you as you will soon find the joy of shareing her latest photo shoot rather addictive.
And welcome to the doll owner club.
(poor people constantly buying clothes and jewellery etc for demanding Dolls,..)
Playtime.
I know my way around a camera, but this will be a new experience for me, as most of my experience is with nature, not people. At least I know she'll be a patient supermodel.playtime wrote:My next girl will be a B6 so I feel realy happy for you.
