Yup, ....what Jerry said.

Sarah is torn in several places and I'm just NOT going to fix her.

The good news is that I have a private "office" now, so she sits here beside me all the time. I play with her occasionally, and don't let the tears bother me at all, because at least now I am enjoying her.

BTW, she had a severe tear around her neck. In order to keep it from wandering, I cut all the way around her neck. Guess what? now she can hold her head up properly and it can be turned so she's looking to the side at me. very nice. Ugly gap, but too bad...now we always have eye contact.

I like the new forum. Just registered a minute ago.

I'm not much interested in doing photos anymore, then again ya never know. I killed Sarah's website cuz I was exceeding bandwidth around the middle of the month and getting a "nastygram" from my provider. so screw that.

It is a real pisser to spend so much on a doll and have it get so damn busted so easily.

The main reason I have not done any photo's of Ginger lately is because I have not found any new clothes for her that WE like. I can not really see any point in taking a lot of photo's that are all alike. I am still looking for a Japanese school girl outfit, like a sailor girl dress. Another reason is now instead of dressing her and taking photo's I spend more time enjoying her.

Are there any NY/NJ/CT Real Doll owners who would be interested in having a (female) photographer take professional pictures of their Real Dolls?

This is the deal: I'm currently studying for a Masters in Photography and my thesis project is on dolls and quasi-humans. Real Doll is obviously of great interest to me because she represents the most advanced stage in this category.

What you'd get in return are professional art prints/jpgs of your Real Doll in a number of situations (I'm particularly interested in domestic set-ups). Privacy assured. Pics would not be used outside school. Credentials and references available.

Contact me on immaphoto@yahoo.com if you're interested.

There will be another shoot soon and perhaps I can get Jerry to add to Ada's page in the Closet.

Now that he plans to do so and if Jerry gives the "OK" to post this set in Victoria's Closet, shouldn't Ada's stats be added in The Statistics Page?

Yeah... it's on my "to-do" list... I have the data... just haven't done it yet. Perhaps this weekend... no wait... I'll be in California for the RDOL convention.

Sometime soon... so much going on now... fall is here, gotta strip and paint the house... patch the driveway... yada yada yada.

Actually... I need to completely rewrite the STATS page... put in some FLASH, etc. I'm doing Mark's Superbabe page now too... so much going on!

That's all well & good, but if 'everyone' knows who owns which Doll, then there should be no problem in Emailing that individual & asking them to send a pic or two - otherwise, it's theft. As closely-knit & intelligent a community as ours is, I would think that'd be pretty obvious.

That is correct! However so is saying “Go for it!” or “Hell yeah!” you heard someone else say it but you’re using it. The point is that “theft” is defined by the community to which the deed is pertinent as to where the line is drawn. That does not mean that if someone requires permission to use their photos that their demands should be ignored. Far from it! If that person requires permission, than permission should be obtained. However when I get a digi cam than any photos I post of Lisa are free to download.

I got two dolls because I was looking for a new hobby and the Realdolls looked like fun! I saw the sites and the enjoyment people were having. I'd be proud to see my photo's all over the internet. I do hope to sell a few videos and articles along the way, I think the dolls are as fun a hobby as you could ask for!!!! Thanks to Matt at Abyss!!!

1) To date I have only had one person ask to use a photo on their page.

2) Most people never read the status page... I get asked all the time how I built the bed, how does Amber feel... etc, etc. People just click through and look at the pictures.

Mike,

I see that you are selling items through the Yahoo RD pages you have set up. Being that the forum is a commercial enterprise for you, I must ask you to remove the pic of ADA Dujour from the "bikini contest" area. The images I asked Jerry to post are for the enjoyment of individuals without any ties to commercialism. I hope you understand.

Your picture has been removed. However, Rdol is not a commercial site, Gothic Film Productions is. Your picture is in a non-profit site. Now if it was in the Gothic Film site, that would be different.

A tip: if your doll picture is in a "group" album in a yahoo club, you can add or delete pictures yourself. Only albums marked "personnel" are you restricted from doing this. So - edit your pics as you see fit!!!

In Yahoo clubs it's true anyone can add a picture to a Group type folder, but only the Contributor (the poster of the photo) can delete it, no matter what type of folder.

Mike,

Perhaps you should actually remove the pic before you tell me it has been removed.
I just checked the web page and it is still there.

A tip: The pic is in one of your *personal* floders which means I can do nothing there for myself. And Angel points out that even if it were a group folder, since I did not post it, I cannot remove it.

As far as commercialism goes, the distinction between Rdol and Gothic Film Productions is decidedly blurred. Since you are selling RD related items at GFP and posting copiously to Rdol, anything you post to Rdol (or here, for that matter) aids the cause of GFP.

This not a large community - more people than you think see the connection between the two.

Tiger
