Hi Birke; welcome to the forum.
Mona is a Virgin Rose Doll and among the cutest I've seen.

I think he posted about how they came to be some time ago.

As Netwit says, Mona is a VRD.
Freckles were made by VRD, and are definitive.
She has freckles on all her body and it is particularly delicious on a small body.

Great topic and photos. Wondering how freckles turn out , personally my fave but until now wasn't sure how freckles worked out on these faces! Very informative! Now that I know, I look forward to my " girl" to have them.

For my doll, VRD make the freckles "before the silicone run completely dry" then they become definitive.
And on her face, it seems that there is a very thin lay of silicone on her cheeks and on her lips too.
I will tell if they disepear, but I will be surprised of that.

There is just something about red heads and freckles. Dress them up in something green and it's perfection. You have some beautiful ladies there.

I've had some good results using water based face paint pencils gently sharpened. Did a couple of shades of brown and a dark orange for realism. Good for a day or two to mix things up.

Okay, so eyebrow pencil is best.

Riley doll's nose is skin color inside and out;
omitting realism,. Some other dolls have nose openings
slightly darker as they should be, to make realistic.

Is eyebrow pencil the best way to carefully color a
doll's nose openings to correct for manufacturer not doing so?
