GIMP is not a bad software at all. If you have the eye and skill for photo editing, you can do a lot with it.hansdampf21 wrote:Anyone wants his doll GIMPed for free? (limited time offer)

Yes, and there are many good and easy-to-follow tutorials out there.dullahan wrote:GIMP is not a bad software at all. If you have the eye and skill for photo editing, you can do a lot with it.hansdampf21 wrote:Anyone wants his doll GIMPed for free? (limited time offer)
Finally you can do most of the things needed for all kinds of everyday work with the GIMP.
It may not be as user-friendly as Photoscape and the likes, but it's more powerful.
And it's free

For sure! Open source communities are the best. I use many open-source art softwares for that reason. And for the fact that they're free.hansdampf21 wrote:Yes, and there are many good and easy-to-follow tutorials out there.dullahan wrote:GIMP is not a bad software at all. But that's the main point. You have to invest (creative) time. Even the most expensive software will not free you from that.

I can assure that every 'power user' of MS paint i happened to know in my life, is simply genius.
And that has nothing to do with the fact that MS paint is a a powerful program at itself

True that, I played around with it a bit some time ago, the good thing for Photoshop users (like me), is the interface is similar, the really good thing is it's free to download.dullahan wrote:GIMP is not a bad software at all.
