As I'm a big fan of Mon I couldn't resist showing her, so here she is as Kurumi.

Thanks Mondoon, and I agree, Mon is an absolute honey and that shot of her as Kurumi is bloody gorgeous.Mondoon wrote:Fantastic shots G, the pictures and clothes are beautiful.

Lets see if I can emulate that for the next pic I post here. (Guess that's my Sunday f#cked)
Cheers, I think!

Re: Cosplaying - Kurumi Tokisaki
Couldn't find any skulls, but picked up the pistol for a quid (£1) in Poundland this morning
This was much more difficult than I'd expected, but bloody good fun, and cheaper than spending the afternoon in the pub!
I took about 60 different shots with minor tweaks to her arms, head, wig, eyes and the skirt, and this is the closest I got to Mon's original pose. 5 hours all in, with the set up, shoot and editting.
Still not quite right, but I'm pretty pleased with the result.
Mon's original shoot: And Kayla's attempt: Click on the images for better quality.
Thanks Mondoon for the inspiration image of Mon. Not sure I'll have time to do this on a regular basis, but if anyone has any other images of RG's cosplaying Kurumi, that you'd like Kayla to recreate, then post them here and ill see what i can do.
Cheers,
G

I think the good thing about using a pro shot for reference is their subject knowledge and the posing. I will often view a few pro shots on a subject before I do a shoot. I mean, your other shots of Kayla are excellent but this repro of Mon is just the dog's bollocks. Very, very nice work and really well worth all the effort. Yeah, and cheaper than going to the pub.
Ha ha, a pistol for a pound in Poundland, who'da thought it. Good find. Props are always handy.
All the best to you and Kurumi from us Wild Plains dwellers.
