Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole - scam sites , interesting how the one quotes """"""""Cusotms:Since import maybe related to customs clearance and import duties. For avoiding this trouble and save customs duties, mostly of the declared value on waybill for customs will be marked within USD30 by us, we think this will be acceptable for most countries` customs!!"""""""""" 30dollars custom duty??????????

Not the regular stolen pictures, but I'm very wary about sites like dhgate and alibaba. They're the homes of scammers, but maybe Beautifuldolls can shed some light on their legitimacy.
Or better yet, contact Beautifuldolls, maybe she can be of service.
BTW, I'm moving this thread to the Sales on External Websites subforum.

Hi kochidoll, I have never done any business with any of those sites, but I have read on here and the UK forum, that those are very dodgy sites. I really wouldn't trust them. I would do a lot morehome work before I parted with any money. If I was you, I'd shop about using the reputable manufactureres and suppliers, you may pay more but in the end, it'll work out cheaper because you won't get ripped off. As Alex suggests try asking Beautifuldolls, she is very reputable and knowledgeable. Welcome to the forum, I hope it's saved you a lot of your hard earned mioney, hope to see you about.

Easy solution. Buy only from a place that has a showroom, that you can see. It helps if they're in The United States. They should also register with The Better Business Bureau.

Thx letting me know. They advertised as wholesaler/exporter. I'm thinking of getting lighter weight doll (15~25kg range), but spending around $4,000~$5,000 is bit too much for me. If it's under $4,000 (incld. shipping) then I think about it. beautifuldolls wrote: all of those dolls I can sell... Cheaper... they aren't worth as much ! i have seen these sites and if you look in the writing it will say doll picture is just for reference only "meaning it is not the doll you'll get " so why don't they show the doll that you'll get ? the answer is easy it's deceptive advertising , kind of like the real woman pics on doll boxes , but at least "some" of these show part of the other side of box and the real doll (some of them). If i can't see the actual doll either through their website or another ( like see them inflated, etc. ) Then i won't buy it no matter how good it looks or appears to look maybe that is more appropriate . Any way thats the rules of thumb i go by.

AliBaba, Tradetang, Dhgate, etc. are home to scammers, big time.
