I second that. Looks fishy for several reasons. New website under construction, a doll that looks too high end to sell for under 3 grand, no close ups of an actual product, jumbled pics similar to what you see in the adverts of alibaba and dhgate, feedback of 0! 'nough said

I agree. This guy has no feedback, and is ONLY selling that one doll, no other sales on his ebay site. This has red flags all over it!! Although, I did see that he has one bid on it. What a fool!

I can't access Ebay USA but has anybody across the pond 'done the right thing' and tipped off Ebay. The ''''''''fool''''''' as put is obviously unaware of what he's doing and everybody on here had to start somewhere so a little help is needed. He may even become a member here at some stage

Wot Wulfie said.

I'd make a complaint, but unfortunately my account on ebay.co.uk tends to screw anything up when I try and look at the .com/.ca, let alone ask questions!

If we (as independent forum members - I wouldn't expect TDF officials to get involved  ) perhaps had an etiquette of flagging these sorts of dodgy sales, we'd save some people some money and discourage anyone selling their "doll" under false pretenses/accidentally putting up the wrong photos, etc....

I hope TDF officials have the savvy to do this, with position comes responsability and the protection of doll owners / potential members is a valued action, for every conman who gets slotted 100 get away, time for payback
Just thinking about all the pissy chunter on the 'Guild topic'. this IS the reason why such 'trademarks' are needed, to protect buyers. I hav'nt bothered with that topic as some views are beneath contempt but this ignored thread is an example of what's wrong and what could be put right by a little action

That looks like one of Stacey718's photos, the backround looks familiar. Definitely a scam. Oh wait. I shouldn't jump to conclusions. Maybe it's a forum member selling a doll Stacey718 gave him. This is what happened to a doll Doodman gave away.

That IS one of Stacy's photographs and he is using others of hers as well. I have been in contact with munkey430 informing him he is in violation of U.S. Copyright Laws as he is using the photographs illeagally and without permission. He replied asking how he could use them and I told him he would have to have the owners permission which she would not give and that he needs to take down the photo's and stop using them immediately. I also reported this to e bay and ... well, ??? we'll see what happens.

What kind of screen name is Munkey430 anyway? I suppose if he gets caught, he'll come back as Munkey 431. I suppose he's done this 429 times already.

Same old same old - on every forum in the known universe - people would rather get into a slanging match over (real and perceived) slights than do something positive and constructive and make an actual difference in their communities...

As Professor John Lydon put it so succinctly, "anger is an energy".
