I have to speak up. My first introduction to this forum and my first beginner doll was a Candt8teen Taffy doll. Itsme's customer service was beyond reproach back then. How many vendors do you know that, after dropping the doll off at the shippers, go back and take it back because the customer (me) changed their mind on something. Maybe it was this type of customer service that finally drove him to throw in the towel.
Should he honor all transactions before going out of business? Absolutely. I'm actually shocked that he's not. Itsme has always been honorable, and sir, if you're reading this, I still believe you know the right thing to do is refund this gentleman's money. You're so respected by many of us, please don't end your legacy by walking away from your responsibility with this buyer. We take care of our own, so I'm willing to help out some (please PM me).

I see. I researched this more and it looks like submitting a complaint via FBI's IC3 would be most appropriate: https://www.ic3.gov/complaint . Maybe if enough victims submit their case it would be seriously investigated.

It's not just interstate! I'm in the UK and they still have $700 of mine and I still have no doll since 6th July! PayPal only allow 180 days and then you're on your own as I found out! My bank is going to look into it under our consumer act here though because I used a credit card. So, if you're reading this c18, we're coming after you!

Yes C18 is playing a dangerous game over refunding a few thousand bucks.
Not fun to have the Feds and Internal Revenue Service going over your business and tax records.

If TDF management has any more details about C8T and/or their owner(s) from the documents used to verify their business, maybe they could post it here so the victims would have some way to confront them. I checked the secretary of state records in Ohio and in a few other states but I couldn't find anything under their name. Did they even have a business license?

You don't even have to post publicly, you could make a thread where all the victims could p.m. you, with reasonable evidence of order paid for and you'd then send first and last names, addresses, i.p. addresses, email accounts other than the obvious ones (sales@Candy8teen. Com)
That would go a LONG way toward actually backing up the oft-cited idea that if you buy from a TDF vetted vendor, you won't get burned.
Which we'd all love for that to be true some day.
We're not there yet. Not by a long shot.
Help us get there, won't you?
