Mannequin Questionaire - Do we need a forum?

Post by TDF_Management »

Owing to a growing interested we are currently evaluating the setting up of a Manniquin forum.

The following poll will help to determine if there is enough interest to warrant a dedicated discussion forum.

I feel that there is a growing interest in Mannequins, although apparently, many owners don't currently post about them.
They are different from other dolls in that most of them are in a set pose and used for display and photos only.
We don't really 'need' a forum for them, but perhaps, if one existed, more members would contribute.
I can see this becoming something exciting, given that they are relatively inexpensive, there are many, many different models (male and female)
in many different poses, they are easy to get, almost zero wait time, most are meticulously crafted and the best part: THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!

I agree, and people are not likely to be looking in Dolls in General for mannequins.

Most are very pretty, however they are very limited in posability.
I like the photos I've seen though ;)

Dont plan on buying one myself, but can see no reason not to have a forum for those who enjoy them, also most of them are very sexy and nice to see pics of.

Limited in posability? Try my Private Island Beauty  I love her dearly but she is at her best when flat on her back on the bed.

Good idea. Remember a science fiction show from the late Sixties where a store mannequin comes to life.
Traceter and me have bonded. It happened quite magically when I looked into her eyes about 8 0'clock this evening; 12th August 2020. She looked at me, and even seem to regard me. No longer did she look through me or past me. Just like in AI, Traceter has imprinted herself on me. And how I welcome, SO MUCH, this!

Works for me! Thanks for the offer. I will PM you my shipping address :)

OK, OK, I know that was not what you meant ;)

It is the the full rigid skeletoned dolls that are most posable for photography, But you truly only need one great sexy pose to enjoy. Kharn and I think they would make great lawn and garden ornaments, but they may tend to cause traffic accidents ;)

As to F80's remark, it does make sense from an organizational standpoint as well and could expand our community.

Sure, why not. I've already seen some tasteful, sexy photos posted.
I also got a good laugh when narcissus alluded to an improperly fastened insert
falling into the leg cavity. :D Shtup...Shtup...Shtup...Flup!
So there's beauty, laughs, banter; everything that's needed for a good forum.

...............I'd hit dat

Netwit, the laughing girl at the bottom of your post, is she a Neanderthal? I noticed she looks like a cave-man, from about 70,000 - 80,000 years ago. Low, sloping fore-head, high, protruding eye-brow ridges. She looks like she may still be part ape.

I did own a mannequin once, before my first cheep air girl. A dumpster find at the lingere store next door when I was younger. I lived with the folks then and kept her in an abonded factory. When they renovated I found her out in the back smashed to bits as if by a serial killer. A sad day. I have looked into buying one a few years ago as one would be almost acceptable to leave out around the house. Actually thought about buying a whole family of them to keep me company after my EX left.
I think they do deserve their own subforum.
