Suzanne Heintz's mannequins on TV
On Rocky Mountain PBS:
A cut-down version on PBS NewsHour:
On A&E's Shipping Wars:
Suzanne Heintz and her "familyquins" are a world-famous art project showing how a living person can create their own family with mannequins, now in their 16th year. She rocks! She even staged a wedding a few years back with Chauncey. Their daughter is Mary Margaret. These mannequins are not sexually capable, and she claims not to consider them her companions, but consider this: after the initial art project was supposed to be over, she couldn't let them go, and in fact, has replaced them several times with copies of the identical models, to keep the family going. She has shipped them all over the world for her fantastic photo shoots. Suzanne is an accomplished photographer and TV professional in her own right, and has given hundreds of interviews and has been written up and broadcast by thousands of media outlets worldwide.
