Asuka is here!?!

My doll arrived today. It was very, VERY fast shipping. I made sure to take pictures of the box and the whole opening process and to my shock..THERE IS NO WIG!?! There are NO CLOTHES!?! The insert is VERY SMALL and doesn't fit in the hole of the doll properly!?!

The videos and pictures I saw of others getting these dolls all came with larger inserts, at least one wig, a set of clothes and even some accessories!?!! I got a body, a head, and a very small insert..

Now I can't use the doll for however long it takes to get a wig for her. I have many inserts and one should fit, although the hole is very large. I'm about to inspect her for damage to make sure she's okay other than that. I showed three different pictures of the girl I was trying to make and I don't think any of those pictures were of a bald woman!?! I'm not upset about the doll, but I'm wondering if a joke isn't being played on me right now..

I just checked the site..AAAAND..I'm not sure that they even come with wigs or clothes. I guess the pictures I saw may have been of custom orders!?! Anyway.. She is in EXCELLENT SHAPE! She poses great and is very soft and PERFECT!

I will be showing pictures of her complete after I get an outfit and a wig! I am very happy with the doll and if they don't come with wigs or outfits to begin with than I'm okay with that!

Hmmm well that sucks :/ this info might be useless atm but for expensive purchases I always ask for a picture before shipping out since mistakes can happen no matter how trustworthy the company is. Anyway I should mail them asap to sort out the wig and clothes if that was included in your order.

SO! Okay.. My heart is done racing..I've got the wig I want sorted out on EBay! I'm getting ready to go clothes shopping and everything appears to be in great shape!

So here are the first pictures of the incomplete Asuka! Once I get her wig and clothes we will register her and continue on this topic!

The bulge is a few layers of extra cardboard for padding (It's NOT the head!)! I'm sure it keeps them from flipping her, too!
Yes that's a custom made Gandalf pipe and Hello Kitty lighter on the right..
..and NO, I don't generally smoke indoors! (I only smoke a pipe once in a blue moon.)

The face is very much like the girl I was aiming for, so I'm extremely happy with that!

I'm not sure if there is any ankle articulation (I don't think so..) I wonder if she can stand? Her feet are strong metal, I think!

At first I thought the hands seemed small, but compared them to my own and they look just fine!

The body is soft and has a good weight (not light, not heavy)! The head is very beautiful and I can picture her now!

SO! For tonight we will watch Star Trek the Motion picture and she can play the part of VGER..

I'm very pleased with her so far! I think she will look exactly like Asuka once I get the wig and dress for her!

Thanks.. I might actually be getting the wig tonight from a local place! I started moping around online and figured I'd try local for some reason (I pretty much gave up on getting things from local stores..), and low and behold, I FOUND ONE! So I called and confirmed it, sent a liason to pick it up (in true shut-in style), and I may be posting the complete babe tout de suite!!

She's resting right now after that long flight in the fetal position, stuffed in a box! DHL is extremely fast and reliable around these parts (I've heard several horror stories about them here on the forum, though.), and they must have used their patented teleporter on this one, 'cause she got here super-duper fast (like, impossibly fast..)! Once, long ago, I ordered some training mats from a place in California and had them sent DHL. They got here in TWO DAYS! I was spindizzy from this one, though!

So, once I dive into a box of panties, pop out with a fresh pair, and this wig arrives, I'll post more pictures!!

Beautiful Dolls gave me back $30 because the wig missing was actually a mistake, and the insert didn't fit! I really like them a LOT! I will buy more stuff from them in the future!
