110cm "Amanda" doll clothes size

Hello doll world, I know there is already a topic on this but there has to be several owners of this doll checking out this forum on a regular basis. Can anyone chime in and let me know the actual size of clothes for this doll? She measures 43" tall, according to a size chart she should fit in a kids size 5. Is this right? Or is she more like a 4t? I'm waiting for my doll to arrive and it's exciting to shop for clothes but not knowing what really fits her makes it difficult. it's also weird shopping in the kids section but that's what fits her.

I've determined that while 5 may fit, because of her womanly proportions it doesn't fit tight and sexy. Size 4's seem to fit tighter, while still being pretty easy to get on or off. this is what my doll wears:

Tops: size 4 xs (snug fit, camis/tanktops) - 6 (loose fit, long sleeve shirts)
Dresses: size 7
Skirts: size 24 months WITH stretchy waist band (very important). The length of the skirt comes down about to her thighs, instead of size 4 which come down to just the top of her knees. Looks more sexy. You may have to cut out the inner legging section if theres one.
Panties: size 4
Tights: size 4
Shoes: size 10
Bathing Suits: size 4 (size 3 for even tighter fit... but you may have a little trouble getting it on her)

If you want stockings, do not buy woman's stockings. Get woman's knee-socks instead, they will look like thigh-highs on the doll. Or what I do is get size 4 girl tights, and cut off the waist part with scissors. Also, The Microfiber kind feels much nicer and smooth than the cotton kind.

Heh, yeah. A bit of wasted money and a little bit of frustration.

Also, don't rule out NPW custom fashion shop if you want sexy lingerie and adult outfits. NPW is an online clothing company that can tailor clothes specifically for your doll's size. I am even in the midst of having them do a couple outfits for me. Browse some lingerie on various sites, then contact Nadia at npwstudio@hotmail.com to see if they can do it. Honestly, they are pretty damn good at reasonable prices.

I found size 4 undies are a pretty good fit. I had some others from a different manufacturer, and they were too big.

These sizes are also good for 100 cm dolls as well. I had discovered a couple of these sizes through trial and error, but this list will make it much easier.
One trick I discovered is when you cut off the top of the girls size 4 tights to make stocking don't throw out the top band. It makes a great bra. Trim it so it is a just a wide band, slip it on your doll and then tie the front with some thread to give it some definition.

Great information, and thanks for the replies, I too had been wondering about this. Luckily I haven't wasted too much money in trying to nail down the right sizes for my own 110 cm. This information will go a long way towards saving me more down the road now.

Also, does anyone have any good leads on wigs for a doll of this size?

They are not expensive and are good for experimenting. She has gotten a lot of use out of the red Ariel wig and the Dorothy wig. She does not use the blond wig much as it is too hard to explain to my wife why there are blond hairs on my pillow.

You can also buy micro string bikinis . for panties o cut up childrens stockinhs and use them for under wear and tube tops. Extra small lycra stretch tops fit pretty goodon this doll too.
