Sleeping with your doll

I have slept with many dolls and even a hard mannequin!
I put mittens on my girls hands and put her hands in her lap. I never roll over on her

I sleep with Xiaoli every night (DS160+) Sometimes she on her back and sometime we spoon. I always have her dressed in something that covers her arms, shoulders, and hands like a long night shirt or a pair of PJ's so that the sheets wont snag on her.

I also have Jess in bed as well (Teddybabe deluxe). Jess was my first doll and I have never slept without her since she arrived. If cuddles and snuggles are you thinmg you simply cannot beat a Teddybabe as a snuggle buddy under the covers. They are bomb proof.

Personally I feel that the best type of doll that's suited for this purpose is the plush or fabric doll. It's just too easy to damage a silicone doll. But if you're going to try and sleep with a silicone doll, follow samara78's advice and place mittens over her hands so you don't tear her fingers off or create finger pokes. Probably want to dress her too, so that you don't scuff up her skin, which is easy to do with a silicone doll if you drag her in any way across a surface.

Very good advice here.

But like I mentioned elsewhere, I think having a big bed will be a good idea for safety. A silicone or TPE doll can suffer some serious damage if they fall on the floor. These are some very delicate ladies.

I'm usually worried my doll is too heavy to position on her side, as perhaps the metal skeleton in her shoulders would pierce the TPE. Maybe I'm just being overly paranoid though.

I suppose I am as well WA. As careful as I am with my doll, she's managed to receive a few scuff marks to her skin, as well as a few small particles embedded in her skin, similar to a small splinter.

She's always covered and well powdered, but she has still managed to suffer some damage, however small it may be. It's for this reason that I wouldn't dare try to sleep with her.

The whole part of me wanting a doll is so that I CAN sleep with her. I only currently have DS minis which suffered in transit with broken skeletons. They are fragile and probably wouldn't stand me rolling on top of them. One is currently in surgery but the other sleeps with me every night and so what if I damage her further, that company is priceless! I don't use her for sex as she's too beautiful for that but I'm not afraid of cuddling up to her at night! My next doll, WM168 Nava won't be any different. She's staying right next to me (although the DS mini might have to have a ringside seat as there's not going to be much room left!)! OK, they're expensive but they're there to be used and so what if I have to replace her (although I really hope I don't!) in a year or so, I would lose the same amount on my car in a year!

If you have a decent memory foam mattress or topper then the doll wont move much during the night and will be supported along her entire body. Xiaoli has spent dayss on her side in both her TPE ans Silicone incarnations without issue. As I said before I always have her dressed in something with long sleeves so that the areas around her neck/shoulders and over her hands are protected. If she isnt wearing PJ trousers then she is in tights with knickers over the top for the sexy look but still protected. Generally I will reposition her during the day, but there have been times where she has been on her side for 72 hours in the same position with no ill effects. Its all down to your mattress and what she's dressed in.

Silk or Satin PJ's make life a lot easier as they allow the covers to slide over her without snagging and also allow you to scooch her that last inch to get her really close. Also boobs in satin = profit

I bought a new mattress just because of this. Had an old spring mattress that even I hated sleeping on. Second best investment I've made in a month

For me the risk of damage is totally worth the snuggling. Especially with her naked!

I absolutely love the feel of her TPE skin on mine while snuggling at night.

She does have a few nicks here and there that are very minor. Most of those were caused when I was awake though and she wasn't sufficiently powdered. Powdering seems to be the most important thing to protect against damage.

Of course I also obsessively shave and clip/file my nails before I sleep now.

That I learned when had too long nails that caused couple of marks on my doll's back, fortunately not too noticeable but pressure marks made by sharp objects don't seem to go away from silicone. Also it's hard time remembering to take off my wrist watch when carrying her as the metal strap and buckle can leave marks too.
