Thanks! Had a lot of fun putting this shoot together ... did some experimenting with lights and camera angles and got some pretty cool shots out of it all. I hope to have the last set ready and posted before the weekend is over.

Howdy All!

Before we begin, Happy 4th of July to all the USA TDF members!

Here is the 3rd set of pics from Nina's GoGo Girl shoot. All shots in this set were done without a tripod. This allowed for a bit more freedom for different angles to be captured without the limitations imposed by a tripod. One thing I noticed doing this "untethered" set is a change of Nina's expressions depending on camera angle/height and lighting setup.

We always enjoy your shows Von and Nina, in fact we look forward to them.
Funny you should say that you didn't use the tripod, I didn't on Hanna's last shoot. I found it to be a bit restrictive for what I wanted to do and I had enough natural light not to worry about shutter speeds. I like not using it for the extra bit of freedom and a little less formality.

Anyway another great set from Team von Shredhead again and Nina sparkling like a true little star. Rock on Nina !!

These are really nice. All the photos look very good. I think I'll borrow a couple of ideas if I ever get the chance to set my lighting up more flexibly than I have had.

... Thanks Mondoon and Monkeypants ... you just made Nina's day!

I also enjoy the freedom of running around without the tripod. MUST have enough light though for my situation ... I have no natural light available downstairs ... oops. I get many blurred shots when zoomed in ... aperture is too small, my lens is pretty "slow", I guess.

But the freedom to move and position and get the right angles makes up for it all.
