Introducing ... Nina von Shredhead! (Custom DS145cm)

Hi Nina and Von,
very nice pics and thank you for letting us participate in your light experiments.
It is always difficult to mix main and secondary light for the shadow effects and needs a lot of experimenting (i.e. moving the softboxes around).
My personal favourite is the latest portrait, it should have gone into the "elegance" photo contest this month.

Wow Von, yet another very interesting and instructional shoot. The different lighting effects are really worth a study. I reckon that the strong light from one side is good for the disco effect, coloured filters on the lamp would be good for that too. The strong light would also be good for a black and white. The overhead light was nice too. I've used one light 45 degrees up and 45 forward which works nicely. Great stuff, thanks for showing those variations.
Now to Nina. Well, what a great outfit. 'Disco grrrrrl, she runs to the toilet and she combs her hair' I could imagine her at the disco and a bunch of boys eyeing her up for a dance. 'Hey boys, you seen that redhead over there'
I like the red wig but I have to say that Nina in a black wig is the business for me, or 'Bundy'. It's what Nina likes that's important though.
Really great set of pictures Von and I have spent some time looking at your different lighting, really useful. Top that with a stunning model and you're on a winner.

I've noticed that changes in the lighting direction/angle changes Nina's expression ... the light set up used in this shoot really makes Nina's smile show in a few pics.

I learned much doing this shoot and had fun playing with shadows. I need to work on exposure. Some of the light effects would look cool in B/W with proper exposure or even underexposed. Lighting is cool!

Thanks! Glad you liked the lighting tests ... I liked doing 'em. Saw some cool effects from this set up ... Nina's smile really came out in many of her pics. I need to pay more attention to exposure ... some are over and some are under. I'm learning!
