What ruby13 face u be talkin bout?majorperv wrote:Beautiful photos! Originally I wasn't a huge fan of the Ruby face but she looks amazing here. I was wondering if you could put in your $.02 about the softness of the DS 145 - there's been a lot of vague descriptions and it would be nice to hear how she compares to your other dolls. Thanks!

Not what you're thinking - DS have a face called Ruby
http://www.dsdoll.us/galleria/145/ruby/index.html
http://www.dsdoll.us/galleria/145/ruby2/index.html
with a wonderful sister Lilith
http://www.dsdoll.us/galleria/145/lilith/index.html
and they're clearly sisters of Sandy

WARNING! Don't let any of these dolls look you in the eye: they're addictive!
Best wishes

As far as softness goes, its hard to say really. The 4woods( being the oldest) is definitely the firmest of the 3. The Pib is fairly stiff in areas, but the supersoft triangle area of the torso is A LOT softer than the other 2. Its not rock hard by any means, tough for me to describe. The breasts feel nice and soft tho. The 4woods are really soft, but basically feel like air pockets, so feel kinda odd at the same time, where as the DS are soft too but feel like there is a little more substance to them( dont feel empty). Hopefully that helps a tiny bit.majorperv wrote:Beautiful photos! Originally I wasn't a huge fan of the Ruby face but she looks amazing here. Outstanding photography as usual!
Jessie/Nina reminds me of a cross between an Orient Industries Petite Jewel Ai and a 2D anime creation; pretty and innocent.
Jada/Ruby reminds me of some haunting, slightly gothic BJDs from Dollmore and others; a look that one cannot forget.
Very pretty ladies!
Cheers,

That reminds me, I need to do a slight repair. There is a tiny little split on the bottom part of the insert area, which I can't blame on anything else but myself. You may notice in Jessie's pics, she is doing a split when sitting on the chair, and I've had her legs completely together also, and was left in these positions too long while taking pictures, moving lighting around, etc. I may end up reinforcing the area like I did with the 4woods as I had big tears on that one.majorperv wrote:Thank you Spedfish, that does give me a better idea. I'm going to be back in the market for a new doll in another month or 2 so I'm doing my research! How is your DS holding up in the insert area? I've noticed this model seems to tear a bit there - at least a lot of the dolls going up for sale have had that issue.
Thanks!! Same here, I get a real anime vibe from the Nina head and even the body, with slightly longer legs to body ratio( seems like it anyway). The Ruby head, after receiving it, sitting out with no hair on, I was thinking to myself didn't look that great, but then tried the wig I use for my Shermie(punkish looking wig) really brought out the attitude I was looking for, so I knew if I got the right wig she would look great to me.JackT wrote:spedfish,
