Nikki ... you ROCK sweetie! I love your stories and how you can "boss" Dudeman in the fine intricacies of properly photographing a tree ... hee hee hee. Oh ... by the way ... the SECOND tallest trees would be the Sequoias, also of California.
Great pics and fun story DM!! (Y'shoulda told her about the cows Dude ... )

Hi Von
Sequoias! That rings a bell for me. Even with Nikki's prompting I still didn't get the tree fully in the pic. I was too busy making sure I could see Nikki.
She has told me and asked me to point out that it wasn't the cows that bothered her it was the fence looked too small. I told her that the strands of wire were electrified enough to stop a cow, so we decided not to test it out.
I love your outfit very much!
And the trees are so huge and beautiful.
The pictures are really beautiful.
I would love to go into the nature with Bud, like you did with DM.
It would be so much fun to see this wonderful nature in reality and not only on the computer screen.
"I wasn't scared of the cows!"
You are so sweet!

Hello Miyu
I've seen Bud's posts of you and Mila. He would do anything you ask. Give him your cutest look and with your sweetest tone ask to go for a ride in the car and I bet he will take you somewhere fun.
Those cows in our blog were BIG cows and the fence was just a few strands of wire. I've not been that close to real cows before. They kind of took me by surprise when I opened Mitsy's door. And I knew there were cows in the paddock behind me Maybe
♥♥Nikki♥♥
Hi Nikki!
I know Bud would do anything for Mila and me. He is very kind and loves us so much ♥♥♥.
But there is a little problem....he has no driver licence.
Perhaps someday he will have a driver licence and then he will take us somewhere fun.
I guess, I would also be a little bit afraid of cows. I've never seen one in real life.
So far I've seen little birds and squirrels. They look so cute...i watch them every day through the window.

Chris
Thank you Chris.
I don't know who got the biggest shock, DM when I yelled STOP, or me at what happened after I yelled STOP. I do feel safe when DM is driving cause he is very capable, but I won't yell like that again

Hi Dudeman!
Hey, the Sequoias grow in the same areas as the Redwoods and are as monstrous in size. Your "3rd tallest" trees are quite impressive none the less Buddy! Hey, are they dying or do they naturally drop their bark? Just curious.
Heh heh ... IF you were to get the entire tree in view, we wouldn't even be able to see Nikki and Mitsy ... they'd be tiny specks.
Nikki ... the little fence WILL keep the cows from crossing over. Like Dude said, the wires are electrified and will deliver quite a shock if touched. And don't even think of peeing on 'em either ... trust me ... hee hee hee <BZZZT!> ♥♥♥

Hi Von
DM said the trees are called Karri trees. They drop their bark every year. The bark and leaves and fallen branches add to the ground fuel for the bushfires that most of trees and plants in the aussie bush need to keep surviving. We drove through where there was a huge fire last year and I couldn't tell there had been one cause everything apparently grows crazy fast after a fire.
OMG... pee on the fence? No that doesn't sound good. Lucky DM was hiding behind trees when he was doing that. He thought I couldn't see what he was doing, But, you know, right!
I ♥ how there are more ♥ appearing in posts. They are my fave. We have a big list of alt+ keystrokes, but some of the fancy ones work on Windows but not on the TDF posts There is a cute little skull one. alt+128128 I'll see if MaDee can get it to work.
Hi Nikki,
Thanks for the tree info sweetie! Very cool annual cycle they must go through for continued survival ... very similar to the rebirthing of the prairies here in the Middle USA. Fire is needed to aid germination of many prairie plant's seeds, sounds like the Karri tree depends on the same methods.
Oh ... love your "peeping Tom" antics with DM ... hee hee hee ... naughty girl ... NOT!!
After telling you about all the fun we had feeding the bird at our picnic spot and the cows and trees, our CoverDoll blog this month is a simple story about a peaceful spot we went to by a river. This was the last place we took photos on the day I went for a drive in Mitsy with DM.
