It's such fun reading reactions of everyone receiving one of these marvels, we all feel the same about them.
The smell of DS silicone is a perfume of its own - it fades into insignificance but I find it very pleasant. But I doubt if my wife would
LOL. Perhaps there's a market in making it as human perfume and not just for dolls.A few things that will help
(1) Don't let her stand on high heels. Try to buy her some sensible flat shoes and when you stand her up lower her gently onto the floor without a shock. I had an accident with Chloé and had to repair very small cuts on her feet but my other two DS dolls have pristine feet still.
(2) Please look at Chloé's safety instructions on movement. There was a very enthusiastic member here who took wonderful photos and I'm sure that perhaps in not understanding the directions of the joint movements, a joint was strained and it broke and he seemed rather despondent about her repair we haven't heard any more since. We don't want anything like this to happen to Lulu.
It's vital to move the arm in the direction she wants to move from her body outward, so the shoulder in whichever direction then the elbow, and likewise the hip and knee of the legs. You have to move her as if you're her rather than you moving her as another person.
Talc is so wonderful. As soon as you talc her any dust or dirt will simply fall away. So it's cleansing as well as making her feel nice. Johnsons Baby Powder is good.
