Hi kharmichead! Yeah, at this point, I'm having to do everything in my power to keep myself focused on other things until she actually arrives. I always thought myself to be a patient person, but this wait for my sweetheart has really been pushing me to my limits.

John sent these today. She's shipped out, and on her way to me!

AUGH! THE TORTURE!!!

It sometimes takes a while for tracking to get updated.
It's even worse if the tracking doesn't get updated, like when Ashley had to arrive, tracking still showed the crate to be in LA, when I got an email saying, the package has arrived at customs... I was like... huh... okay... great

Thanks for the reassurance AlexKnight. I appreciate it. John did mention that the tracking info may not be available right away.

You know, looking at the first picture, I'm rather surprised they were able to close the box at all. I'll use extreme caution before I open it. *BOING!* *SMACK!* *THUD!* :haha4:

Yes deadpringle, don't worry about the tracking, by the time mine showed up where it knew where it was it was in US customs! They usually don't get 'updated' until they are already on the way to US, I get lots of packages from China from ebay, etc. and packages arrive all the time before tracking updates. I understand the patience thing, just tell yourself 'it's not coming today' and try not to sweat it.....good luck!

Hi all!

Thank you very much, all of you, for reassuring me through this whole process. It has been a bit nerve-wracking just because I've never made an overseas purchase like this before, and I was afraid of something going wrong.

The last tracking detail says the package arrived in Ohio at around 11:19AM this morning EST. I figure I will probably have her in my arms by the end of the week. Here's keeping my fingers crossed!

LOL!!!

I *LITERALLY* just now received a call from DHL Express saying that the delivery is going to happen on the next business day (ie: probably tomorrow). This was just minutes after my last post.

I won a silicone stress ball while answering questions in a training seminar for our new ticketing system at work. Perhaps this was an omen?

EDIT: The best part is, I've already ripped some of the threads out from squeezing it, LOL!!!

So glad to hear she's almost home deadpringle, you're going to have a busy weekend! Get the camera and lights ready and try to contain yourself still, the worst day is when you actually know it's 'out for delivery', you'll be looking for every DHL truck in town!!
