Import fees Doll Sweet

Post by dollslover7 »

Hey everyone,

New member & soon to be first time doll owner.. .recently ordered DS doll 145cm. Can't keep busy enough to off-set anticipation obsession. Really look forward to communicating with everyone here on the many details of doll ownership.

Would like to get some idea for any possible additional fees for doll import to U.S. - have heard such a variety of things concerning this, so it seemed best to go to the experts here. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look forward to asking more. Thanks very much.

Hey dollslover7, welcome to TDF! The right place for all dollovers in the universe.
I am a doll owner for one week now. And I am very happy with my girl Chantal.
Congratulations with the ordering of your DS doll. I hope you will have a great time with her.
Unfortunately I can't answere your question regarding additional fee.

Have you already bought clothing for her? And do you have a name for your girl?

Greetings! Showerman70. :glou:

Hey Showerman70,

Thanks very much for the welcome. Very much appreciated.

Glad your enjoying your lady Chantal. I'm sure I'm going to enjoy mine as well. Haven't come to a decision on a name, but man, I can't stop looking at the clothes I have in mind for her ($$$). I'm hooked.

Great to hear from you. Stay in touch.

Nice to meet you dollslover! Well, in the five weeks I had to wait for my lady, I spend more than thousand euro on clothings, shoes, jewelry and equipment. Man, a real pain for my wallet

But at the end its worth all the money. Its a big investment in a short period of time. But better not to think about that. Happy waiting time !

I live in California, I ordered a 145cm DS Doll from the DS doll site. I was only charged the shipping fee's from them, it was shipped and I was never charged any extra fee's from shipping company or US customs.

this was about 8 months ago.

good luck

Thanks luv2ridemx,

Appreciate hearing your experience with this. I have heard at times there are no additional charges and sometimes there are. That's why I put the question out there. I'll call the shipping company once I find out who they are. They use three different shippers, so I just don't know yet.

Who shipped your doll?

Thanks

If I remember correctly, it was DHL when shipping to USA, but double check they still use them.

Thanks

WELCOME!

Shipping fees - keep fingers xxed and don't ask any questions. . . . Say prayers.

Congratulations on embarking on a journey from which . . . escape is either not easy . . . or painful.

When she arrives - don't take fright! She is perfection personified and there to warm your heart.

Best wishes

OK. I'll take that advice.

Thanks very much for the welcome. I don't think it'll be fright when she arrives. It will probably be the statement of "OH MAMA"!!!!!

Thanks Haremlover

hey dollslover7, regarding your import duties and taxes question, I think that really depends on what country/state you live in. So, you would need to do some digging for your location on that. However, there are sites that provide calculation for that, here is a link to one:

http://www.dutycalculator.com/dc/461087 ... ny-is-4.7/

You can scroll down to your location to find an approximation of the cost. I wouldn't hold on to those numbers though, because I am not sure how accurate that site is, and I haven't received my doll yet, so I would not know.

Hi dollslover7,

Welcome to TDF! Hope you enjoy your time here!

When I received my DS doll, DHL did actually charge me a fee... $17.00. No big deal IMHO.

BTW, congratulations on your purchase!

Troy: Eat garbage dip!... WHY DID I HAVE TO GO THIRD?!
