Kayla 161 after one year+

In many ways this review is more important than the first review. For one thing, product reliability can now be asserted with actual clinical data.

I will let the pictures speak for herself. Kayla is as beautiful as the day she arrived. There had been no loss of her colors.
No discoloration due to clothing has been observed.
She had minimal tears on her soles and those were easily repaired with GE Supreme Silicone. The annoying chemical scent she arrived with has completely disappeared. I love the way she smells now. She also feels softer than she first arrived.

She has helped me endure some of the most difficult times in my life and continues to give me hope and serenity.
I can not said enough good things about her. Thank you so much.

Kayla is beautiful. She looks brand new. That's good to know, since I'm getting a DS doll and I was wondering how well they age. Gracefully as hell, apparently!

She looks fantastic, Chewy! Congrats on a year of togetherness with your lady.

I just received my DS 168cm recently and the thing I'm impressed most with so far is her skeleton. It's really exceptional; that, and I must say the new soft silicone mix is an absolute delight!

How have the joints held up on your doll after a years use? It looks likes she's holding poses just fine from your pics. Has she loosened up quite a bit or still firm?

yes, i am very impressed with her skeleton too. despite repeated
stress loads, as far as i can tell, still as tight as the day she arrived.

its truly an outstanding work of art and engineering.
her skeleton is not only robust but articulate enough to bring out the lady in her.

i just cant take my eyes off her. congrats on your 168. i am saving for one too.

Wow!

Joints still as firm as the day she came home a year ago! That really is far more than I expected. And it makes me appreciate my new girl even more. I wish my 168 had more proportion, but...! the weight advantages are worth the trade, and I love every inch (or cm!) of her height. I'm really keen to see a 158+ in person because I think it would suit my taste for a fuller figure. If you love tall and thin, you won't be disappointed with a 168cm!

Great to see you posting again on the forum and to see Kayla too! She's a star and the DS skeleton is really a joy to play with and to work with for posing for photos and your Kayla's doing that so wonderfully.

This is GREAT to know Chewy! I have a DS145 with loose joints option and am planning for next DS doll to have tight joints for more photography centered activities and I was concerned about the longevity of the tight joints staying ... well ... tight.

Congrats on your first year with Kayla. She still looks brand new!

Congrats and happy D-day to her! She looks AMAZING!! Wonderful review and testament to DS. After searching all other doll makers, I think Kayla is the most beautiful, and I'm hoping to have her before summer. Your review definitely helped me make a decision
