The larger head looks quite good, and I often wondered about this for some time if it would work. I am in the fence getting a 160 or 145 DS doll, but am leaning towards 160+. Thanks for the comparison!

Hey Mishka,

Thank you for your comments. Good luck on your decision. There actually are many options with clothing and wigs to accommodate any perceived disproportion of bodies to heads. Obviously, the plus side is that it opens up many additional choices of facial expressions/attitudes. Please understand, I think ideally it is probably best to initially go with the "complete" doll options that DS offers. I'm just saying that if choosing an additional head for the 145 cm body, I personally think you don't have to necessarily fear going with a head that normally goes with a larger size body.

That doesn't look bad or out of place at all, Penny has such a wonderful smile how could anyone NOT have a little happy moment when she glances at you.

Wow, looks great!

This is why I'm going to get my 168cm+ from DS this fall, in yellow tone, just like my 145cm+, so that I can have four heads to choose from between two bodies. The proportions don't seem to be all that far off really.

EDIT: Augh! That Penny head is so naughty looking. Definitely going to pair her with my 168cm+ purchase.

Thanks deadpringle for your nice words. The Penny head is pretty and naughty (awesome combination). And, the proportions are not an issue to be really concerned about.

Looks really great with the Penny head.

Currently I'm waiting on my DS145 doll that I ordered in early March.
And when I saw the Thera head, I wanted to have necessarily for my DS145.
Unfortunately, I did not dare to order the head for the larger dolls.

Thank you've tried it now. Now I know what my next order is.

But first my sweetie must arrive.
The wait is driving me insane.
