Questions about prospective 160+

Ok, I've settled back on the 160+. So that's settled - for now! LOL

Now on to the trickier issue of the second head... I was originally set on Thera, but after looking at all the photos I can find, comparing side by side, I'm not so sure. It's incredible what a difference hair, lighting and angle can make! Of course this is good news, it means more fun to be had photographing.

I'm now considering these for the second head: Kayla, Alisa, Helen, JiaYi. Just about everything else is set, and I'm just about ready to order!

I've attached a few photos I found online of faces I really like, was thinking maybe the rest of you might be able to give me some ideas about which DS heads look most like these? I need all the help I can get

Thera is a sweetie but Alisa has caught my attention in the past whilst perhaps of the oriental faces Jiaxin, Helen, Emily and YouYi are worth looking at. The one head I'm not at all so keen on is Hanna but that's a matter of taste!

Well, now I've done it - order sent off to John @ DS asking for bank transfer payment details!

Final decision was:

160plus body
light pink skin
Sandy head w/ green eyes, short golden wig
Kayla head w/ blue eyes, long black wig
tight joints
paint nails
no pubic hair
wire hanging kit, bolt

Yipes!

The advice / tips I've picked up here definitely helped - and I haven't even really "started" yet!

Still tons to learn, think about etc.

Brilliant - Sandy is my favourite and it's great for my girls to find they have sisters in exciting places!

You didn't mention finger wires. If you're going to do any posing for photos then the ability of her to hold things is great (see the YouYi thread, recent series of photos - Poisoned by Tiramisu) and finger nails really give refinement.

My old 158, 160plus equivalents, are very envious of girls with fingernails

The beauty of perfection that DS can achieve

really is part of their charm and their joy.

These ladies might do s** rather well but they go way beyond.

I was attracted to a solid doll initially by s** but what these dolls can do is fun that puts s** into a minority of importance . . . . as you'll see with photos emerging in the coming month or so . . . .

Sounds good Seattlefun,

I went with dark Green eyes on Sandy and brown eyes on Kayla.
It's funny..... the deciding factor for me was also the same Kayla set of photos. Very hot set of pictures indeed.
