She's been here for a week and I have taken the time to get to know her and get her space ready. She is not at all what I expected, she's more. I previously owned a Boytoy Melody and even though she is a fine doll, I believe Asami has her beat. I was concerned about the foam core taking away from the feel but I believe it adds to the feel. It seems to the touch as though she not only has a skeletal structure but muscles as well. When you grab any part of her body you're not feeling a skeleton I feel as though I'm touching a human being. It's chilling. The feel of the silicone is no different to me than that of my Boytoy Melody's skin. I got a great deal and thank dollslover for a great transaction. The Skayla head is my favorite by far and I got a Penny head to go with it too. I've read on here and on the DS site that the oral function on Penny is functional but not recommended. Well, I recommend it! Unless you're packing a big stick it is pretty damn good. This is the stiff 145 and they're not kidding. Her joints are really tight. I'm hoping she loosens a little with time but I do like this aspect because I really am getting into the photography side of her. The new silicone insert is ok but lacks a little something and I think I'll experiment with some different inserts to see if I can find that right feel.
As far as clothing, she wears xxs or better xxxs if you can find it. The bras in her latest pics are 32a and seem just right. Shoes vary. A 4 would be her proper shoe size but probably a little to tight. She's wearing a 4.5 in these latest pics and I think they look and fit great. I have some fives that I put on her and they are loose but a closed toe or a strappy heel would probably be ok in a five. She is borderline on clothing size between xxs adult and junior to 10-12 kid sizes. I think some of the xs and xxs small clothing I have I will try to shrink in the wash to make them fit better.
The hanging system with these dolls is what I think sets them apart from the rest. Hanging her by the neck bolt in her closet is so much better than in her box or sitting. And the wire hole through her head is genius! First it helps hold the wig in place. And the best thing about it is posing her for pictures. You can do so many things with this it's awesome. The only downside is your not going to do any fast wig or top changes but that is far outweighed by the pros of this system.
In my opinion, and we know what they say about opinions, this is the best doll for the money. The body has much better proportion that the Boytoy I owned and some of the other high end dolls I've seen pictured. The breasts on her are perfect. I though I would want a 145minus because I am a small tit man but these are perfect in proportion to her body. I don't have big hands and they are just a little more than a handful. Perfect!
Her skin can look a little glossy and plastic to the camera at times. I put a little loose powder foundation on her and it seems to work great at taking this out. I have both heads side by side in the first pic Skayla on the left with no makeup and Penny on the right was my test subject and the foundation turned out to look pretty good.

Thank you Harum and Smurf. I like the Skayla head so much Penny has been sitting in the closet. I'm gonna try to get some pics of her next week. The xxs and xxxs and the wigs are all ebay. That blond wig cost a little more because it is human hair. The rest still look good but that one is my favorite. The Japanese synthetic wigs are nice too.

Not my best work, but we had fun. The model was great. The photographer should have spent more time on lighting, focus, background and outfits. Instead he had his mind, and hands, on something else. She has forgiven me.

Thank you all for the compliments. All the shoes I have for her come from EBay. You have to have some patience though. It can take form 10-20 days for you to get them because the majority come from china.

Thank you. Yes, those eyes hypnotize me. The dress I got from eBay. It is a xxs and come from China. It took about 11 days to get here. Lots of nice stuff on EBay if you can stand the wait on shipping.

Thanks GirlsGang. I'm using a Sony DSC-H400. I'm currently using the automatic setting until I get more familiar with setting the aperture and shutter speed. I bought an inexpensive lighting and background kit from eBay. It is a fine enough kit for starting out and the lighting is good but the background cloths are a bit small. My small apartment is lacking in the kind of props I'd like to use so I'm shopping goodwill and going to a lot of garage sales. Luckily,working with her is a lot of fun so we get to learn together.
