Perhaps some reading of some intermediate posts got lost on the way.

http://coverdoll.com/drupal/node/2072 Chloé helped my Dad see where a real lady had led him, up the garden path and taken him for a ride. So I bought a sister to go and keep him company. Through Chloé he was awakened to the reality of his false relationship with a real woman, but sadly he didn't get on with the toy lady I gave him.
He lacks imagination, spirit of play, and expects a woman to do it for him. So a doll that he has to animate was beyond his imaginative capabilities. So he is still looking for this elusive real woman to have in his life, to have and to hold. Idiot.
So his toy lady lay abandoned in her box, taking up room in his bathroom, which he doesn't really use.
Luckily brave Knight Samurai in shining armour rode to the rescue of this lovely lady . . . and seeing his wonderful photos, it's really apparent that my Dad couldn't know what he was missing. I'm sorry to say that my Dad is mostly a man of largely missed opportunities. He's so fundamentally self centred that he can't see possibilities of how his life and other lives can engage, and can't think of life from another's point of view.
It's interesting to see the number of people unmarried who upon getting a doll get married not long after. People who have to animate dolls, interact, have to think of another's point of view and in my opinion this is life transforming.
