A BIG FORUM PROBLEM!!!! That is discrimination!

Hello everyone!

I had a little problem with a forum and it made me a little upset. Not here don't worry. I would like to know your subjective opinion.

Normaly I have to tell the name of this forum, to warn everyone, to avoid it in the feature, because of worse Administration attitudes, less expertise about dolls and discrimination!!! The forum had problems with my pics about my doll Miah, because she is supposedly not 145 cm or higher.....wears childlike clothes.........and I make my doll look like a child......it would be pervert to cloth a sex doll just like this. I don't know if I have to laugh or cry... that's restricted mindset!

1. Miah is 145 cm!
2. I never posted nude pictures of Miah, why? Simply reason, because I am not interested in nude dolls!
3. I have a 29 years old girlfriend, who also wears childlike lolita clothes by Liz Lisa, MA'RS, Baby the star shine bright etc because that her favoriute fashion brands... But she is ingeneer, has a job, is responsible and stand on her own feet...... Clothing similiar to a child doesn't mean to be a pervert or to be child in the brain....
4. I only have sex with my girlfriend! Buying a sex doll doesn't always mean to have sex with the doll!
5. I like dolls and always liked dolls. As a child I was a strange boy and played more with girls and with dolls in kindsgarden as with boys and their soccer or machbox cars.
6. As child I always dreamed to have a realistic doll.

Sorry to bother you about it, but I had a feeling to tell it to you and ask about your opinion because it made me somehow dissapointed and sad..... In my opinion that's restricted mindset....

I am glad that my pictures are not deleted here in forum. That shows social expertise not personal rating without preconceptions!

Yeah dude, there is nothing wrong that I can see with your pictures aside from the fact the doll looks very young, which might violate Rule 1.

Personally I was in debate about answering the thread as I had reservations on her appearance: I'm not a fan of the Ying head for this reason.

But your reasoning above is very clear and I think there is room for it.

Dolls are dolls and have a life as dolls . . . in relation to which sex is irrelevant for many. A friend of mine in the doll world, indeed one from whom I bought one of my dolls, does not engage with sex with his dolls. Another friend I know not to be interested in sex with his dolls.

For many dolls are a matter of dressing up, fantasy, missing out on family members and all about which sex is irrelevant.

Whilst focussing on sex dolls as a primary thrust, the title of this forum is "Doll Forum" rather than Love Doll Forum.

It is a rule of this forum that discussion regarding underage dolls is prohibited, and bearing this in mind responses on this thread must be made with utmost care but in my opinion the issue and reasoning you raise has validity.

I keep an eye on the Chinese forum and where I see photos that impress me of the 145 in which the theme is wholly unsexual and where the doll is a matter of art I have posted them here on http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=143&t=59841 and other threads. These threads are currently not working on account of a problem with the site in China, however.

I just wanted to drop a quick note to say that Miah and your photos of her are simply amazing.

I'm sorry to hear you had to suffer this prejudice. As is often the case these types of accusation say more about the accusers than they do about the accused. There are some deep seeded fears and ignorance permeating western culture. Some people will simply continue to see and ascribe evil were none exists.

I understand that artistic expression is subjective and the sensitive nature of places like TDF. I have supported decisions to pull photos in the past or to place them in appropriate threads, but I see nothing wrong in your portrayal of Miah.

In a time when the industry is flood with <130 cm dolls, some with very youthful looking features, many of whom are featured here on TDF in much mores suggestive and erotic photos, that we continue to see these types of personal attacks.

I don't think you were wrong. Unfortunately the move to form a "softies" sub-forum would not have changed attitudes in regards to youthful looking dolls.

I have often argued for a non-erotic sub-forum for all comers, but have realized that such a forum cannot coexist with the primary nature of TDF. To be frank I'm not sure it can exist at all as there would always be those taking up their torches and pitchforks. It is not confined to dolls or doll forums either, I have seen the same pervasive attitudes in gaming forums, book clubs, etc.

Despite a couple hundred years of "progress" we have hardly changed since the days of the Salem witch trials. Real evils exist in this world!!! Dressing up a young looking doll in a "hello kitty" tee-shirt, or having a scantily clad anime character in a video game, are not among them.

TDF is not the place to discuss moderation at another forum. There's more about it, but we don't want to discuss that here.

About the young looking doll, this has been discussed many times before, if a real adult looks young and dresses like a child she can proof her age by showing her ID. A doll doesn't have an ID to show the age she's representing. This doll is clearly borderline. Personally, I don't think she's presented like an 18+ yo girl, but as in general we allow the DS 145 doll, we tend to allow this doll - but also at TDF this is a borderline case. Young looking dolls should be presented like adults, if you dress them in child clothes or child underwear or with pigtails, these dolls do look childlike and won't be allowed.

This has nothing to do with mindset or perverts or anything the OP suggested, this is to protect the forum and its staff, management and owners. Because this website is based on sex dolls, photos of any dolls that may be perceived as under the age of 18 years whether clothed or not are considered in bad taste and will not be allowed. Discussions about, pictures of, or sexually oriented content involving, children (or dolls appearing to be) under the age of 18 years is strictly forbidden and will not be tolerated.
