How to make your doll more hardier for standing.
For her hands/palms, I found when rotating the wrists, the metal skeleton can very easily protrude/nick through skin. You can actually feel the metal about 1/8" under the skin.
Actually this may have happened to me after resting her on her wrists, but it's hard to tell - there may have been a prick thru skin. So I overlayed some Flowable clear silicone (Permatex 81730 Flowable Silicone) over that region of the palm about 1/8" thick. Let it set and that was it. I plan to use 14 Gauge needles and inject the silicone into the palm in the next doll.
For the feet, I use "Foot Care Gel Silicone Shoes Pads" (amazon.com)

These fit in the sole of heels - like my 6" heels, and in addition, I applied permatex to her heel 1/8" thick. Now I believe if you are careful, you can have her stand, but carefully supported so she will not slip or fall - that's the worst. I think DS did a very good job on the feet in the 2015 dolls, as I use 6" heels in many shoots, of about 2 hours at a time and never a problem. Again a 14 gauge needle may be a solution for the brave and inject the silicone where the metal feels close under the heel. Again, no photo shoots without shoes when standing..
For DS, my suggestion is to mold an air pocket under the heel, below the metal, then fill the air pocket with harder silicone to distribute weight better once the doll has cured.
I have thousands of pictures, in about 50 hours of her standing mostly, and 100% success.
