Lila is incredible! Miah and I had enough laugh with the goofing around pictures.
Absolutley entertaining. Many hugs and strength from Miah to get through the coming surgery.

Absolutely brilliant, these pictures are giving me and Hanna such a good laugh, they're priceless.
They do look lovely and leopardy. Leopardy, I think we've introduced a new word, let's see how long it takes to get into the urban dictionary.

Lila, it's so sad with your injury at your left leg.
We were also shoked as we heard about it.
I hope that DS DOLL soon supplies the spare parts for the operation.

Thank you all for the kind words and caring thoughts for Lila's upcoming surgery and rehabilitation! She is very touched by all the warm wishes and hopes to be back with y'all soon!

I am glad y'all are liking Lila and Nina's "behind the Scenes" photos! I know these two can be quite the comedic duo when left unattended and unsupervised.

UPDATE : Received replacement "bones" from DS earlier this week.

Ordered a fresh tube of SilPoxy yesterday for this surgery as my 3+ year old tube has a few hard spots in it and I don't think I have enough usable SilPoxy left to complete Lila's needed repair. Otherwise everything else needed for her surgery is laid out and ready to go ...

It will be a big challenge Von! But you can do it!

Best of luck Von, and love and hugs to Lila. Having done this sort of thing twice now (one being an entire hip/lower back replacement) I can say this sort of thing isnt for the faint hearted.

If I may offer my thoughts on the up coming surgery:

From your pictures, it looks like the break was on the shin bone, possible the weld at the top for the knee joint flanges. If this is the case, I would probably make the cut on the inside seam of her leg, not the outside. That way it will be less noticeable. If it is the hip bone thats damaged then obviously it will require cutting on the outside seam. PM me if you would like do discuss at all.

Again, best of luck. It does indeed sadden to see our girls with injuries, but Lila is in great hands here.

Please don't cry Miah, Lila is doing fine right now while she waits for her surgery. She will be back up on her feet soon!
