Howdy All!
Thanks for sticking around through thick and thin! Y'all ROCK!!
Lila and Nina experienced a couple of small accidental spills during the the Wild Side photo shoot. Both suffered a few minor injuries. Lila lucked out and only suffered a minor puncture in the palm of her left hand. Anyway, we'll get to that in a bit. Since Lila would be on the operating table for her palm surgery, this was as good a time as any to give her a thorough head to toe inspection and put together a little review/summary of Lila's first year.
Lila's first year update
Skeleton
- Except for right lateral shoulder joint, all joints still tight and hold poses.
All finger wires broken and detached from palm pad, thumb wires still attached.
Completed Repairs
- One puncture repair done to her left palm
2 loose fingernails fixed
Re-glued vagina reinforcement mesh
Amazingly not a single rip nor tear anywhere in the V/A area ... whew! DS did a great job in preventing any tears or rips in the V/A area with the mesh reinforcement used in the insert hole! Bravo DS/EX Dolls!
Oh, a little off topic ... ordered a new insert from DS a few months ago ... John called it "the 25" ... beefy enough to prevent collapsing/folding over on suction stroke and a bit longer to prevent any slipping in too far. Lila's original inserts would collapse on upstroke suction and fold over inside ... then the insert would slip inside insert hole and ... well ... just not a pleasant experience. New beefy insert solved all these problems wonderfully!
Anyway ... on to meet our patiently awaiting patient.

Supplies needed:
- 1. Popsicle stick (tongue depressor/butter knife/edge of spoon will work as good substitute)
2. Q-Tips/cotton swabs
3. SilPoxy (or your preferred silicone adhesive)
4. Clean rags
5. Acetone
6. Disposable nitrile gloves

Arrows point out where the mesh has separated from the silicone. This needs a thin coat of SilPoxy to re-adhere to the silicone. Clean mesh area well with acetone prior to applying SilPoxy.

Positioned legs to standard "out of the mold" position to relieve any pull/stress on the insert tunnel prior to applying SilPoxy. Wearing nitrile gloves, spread a very thin coat of SilPoxy over the entire mesh reinforcement patch, being extremely careful to not accidentally spread SilPoxy where it is not needed. Clean any messes/oops/mistakes with rag dipped in acetone.

4 small punctures/cuts in her palm. Thoroughly cleaned out holes with q-tip/cotton swab soaked with acetone, working the q-tip/swab inside the palm around the palm pad/skeleton too. Let dry/evaporate for a few hours. (had other stuff to do in the meantime) Using the tip of a popsicle stick, gently pressed/forced/packed small dabs (about the size of a BB) of SilPoxy into the holes, adding more SilPoxy until it was oozing back out of the holes when palm was slightly squeezed. Massaged SilPoxy around the palm pad/skeleton into the empty spaces where the silicone separated from the skeleton/palm pad, forcing out any air bubbles in the trapped in the palm. Wiped excess SilPoxy off palm with rag dipped in acetone.

Gently rest the hand slightly curved to close up the holes. Wiped remaining excess SilPoxy oozing out of holes with rag dipped in acetone.

Rolled her up a bit on her tummy and propped up using plastic wrap box to take off any/all pressure on her insert hole as the SilPoxy cures. Every so gently prop and support her hand so the wounds are closed ... give final wipe with acetone to remove any excess SilPoxy. Let everything cure overnight.
