I received an invoice from DHL shipping for 47.00 customs charges a month after receiving doll, is this normal?

yup. I've heard that it happens specifically w/ DHL. not sure why they would do it though. pretty annoying surprise.

I received one from DHL too - $46.11 ... ???? Was NOT expecting it. Paid it yesterday.

As of yet. I haven't received the custom's bill for my recent DS purchase. But I know it's coming! When I purchased my previous DS (Sarah/Mikayla) I received a bill that was only $16.00. Anyways $46.00 sure beats the heck out of having to pay four or five hundred....

I wish that's all I was charged by the customs...
when I was importing my dollies, delays with paperwork and payments (caused by shipper's end) has led to customs carry out phsycial inspection on my shipment, so it may best just to pay them off quickly to release your doll

That's what I've always assumed for us Canadians. I think I read Dsdolls never devalue their invoice.

For USA customers (Im in California) what name did you put on the item? Should I use mannequin or doll? I realize some types of items are taxed higher.
