I think the tradition of Dolls as characters is alive and well out here in the West as well. Look at our little adventuring troop we have put together, Karpos the surly dwarf paladin, Vanima the beautiful and talented mage, Neoti the Ranger, Tasha the Thief, Linara the Priestess, and I think Marina is going to turn into a talented Bard. We also have Kwench the Badass Vampire, Mo, Sheeana, and Karlie the troublesome triplets, and others such as Nataliya the Russian spiritualist. For many of us the importance is the companionship we share with these ladies and while we may partake of their sexual bounty they are partners not prostitutes.

Now that doesn't take anything away from the beautiful art featured here as I could never hope to match the skill of these artists. I just wanted to point out that the idea isn't a foreign one to many of us. We see what is being done here and applaud it and hope to someday have a showcase of similar work to display.

DS has run into some sort of brandname issue in China and so in China has rebranded as EX Doll.
