Thanks. She will be unique. A totally unique doll .Most of my dolls are unique and individual in their own right.
I think her having a fixed head prompted my order.
A whole small adult person. I can have any hair i want. Any eye color i choose.
I won't share too much about making her unique. Except for the pictures of course. Lol

Any beauty supply sells the hair. They are called tracks. I use a black nylon cap with a thick thread and curved needle. Takes about ten hours to make. If you do not sew the hair 8n right it will never fit on her head.

Beautiful work on the wigs, Samara! Those don't look anywhere close to easy - and sound rather tedious, which leads me to admire your dedication to little Miss Detroit. (Fun name!!)

Ouch. Any way to do it with a sewing machine?

Not unless you want to plug it with hair. Hand sewing is the only way i know of. Have been making wigs a really long time.
