Six months after purchasing my first doll, I must say that it's the best, most satisfying money I ever spent! I had been thinking about buying "that perfect girl" for years ever since I discovered Realdoll online. Realdolls seemed too expensive at over 8000.00 for what they were, and none were "cute", most models they made looked a little slutty for my taste. Then I discovered Dollsweet and my prayers were answered, great price, great looks, tolerant weight, and so many cute faces it was hard to choose. I have enjoyed posing, dressing, and taking pictures of it to my hearts content, without paying a model. She's there when I need or want her, and she fulfills a fantasy that we lose when we get old and never judges me. She is just there to give and give some more, and THAT my friend is priceless I never bought a boat or motorcycle or anything that gave me as much satisfaction. So if you can at all muster up the few thousand it takes, DO IT, you will not regret it. Nuff said, anyone else agree? Tell us what your doll has done for you...

You made the best decision in buying a DollSweet doll in my opinion. Doesn't matter if you bought one for intercourse, photoshooting or simply for decoration.
DS is a great compromise even if the dolls are not primary made for intercourse in my opinion. The focus lies more in the appearance and details. The visual impression of the dolls is unique and simply awesome.

In my case I didn't buy Miah for intercourse 'cause it's not an option I'm interested for it. And of course you are aware that's only a doll. It's just.... maybe you'll think I am stupid but when I've washed and combed Miah for the first time, I wasn't only impressed, no I was truly embrassed because of her beautifulness. In never made this kind of effect and experience. To this day, I am still embrassed......... after so many months. SHE IS TO BEAUTIFUL TO TOUCH HER

You are not stupid, you are sensitive and artistic, your photos tell that story, if you enjoy what you do with her, it is certainly money well spent. I agree, DS dolls have that special appeal.

Hah. If anyone is dumb for buying dolls it is me, because all I do with them is sex and not nearly as often as a lot of others here.

That is one of the greatest things about dolls. They can mean so many things to so many people!

The biggest thing for me is I never thought I would feel this way. I never thought I would value a doll so much, and to be honest was quite uneasy with my first purchase a year ago.

and I'm sure there are a lot of others kind of around the same topic of appreciation for not just dolls but specifically DS dolls.

And just touching on your main points, sometimes I love playing with my Celine and talking to her, and just repeatedly tell her how beautiful she is and that she is worth every penny. I went through the exact same phase when considering my first purchase. Realdoll and lots of others just didnt appeal to me. Not only did they not have faces attractive enough to lure me in, a lot of them can't quite get the eyes right. They look like they have this daze to them, whereas often times it just looks like playing around with a real looking girl for a DS face. And absolutely, when I ran into the DS site, I was sold, and actually found quite the opposite and found myself having a very hard time choosing the face to go with!

And luckyleaf! that's not stupid at all. I do that sometimes! it's kinda fun. I might find myself admiring her, and play kinda funny little bashful scene with her.

Lastly, I am super happy to announce that John from DS just emailed me on the completion of my 167! I can't wait. 167 body with Thera head, blue eyes. I may post pictures later.

There are comments here that might be appropriate to dolls in general. But actually it's DS dolls in particular which clearly I'm not unique in thinking are particularly special.

It's arguable that DS dolls are not a compromise at all. They might be mid priced and so giving an impression of "compromise" but in many ways in my opinion and echoed above, they have something about them that's greatly engaging. They have a life and encapture a spirit beyond many others.

And their fulfillment of fantasy is a real delight. And that fantasy is not necessarily consciously sexual as their spirit exudes a sense of fun in which others want to share. Somehow they elicit a reaction from people which is non sexual simply wanting them to come to life. In Chloé's thread there are multiple instances of people engaging with her socially, wanting their photos taken with her etc.

In view of the suggestion that DS is a "compromise" one wonders actually whether the more expensive makes of doll would produce the same reactions and effect?

Hi Harem,

I see, the word "compromise" disturbs you a little bit.

I think DS is a good compromise in addition to owners important selection criteria, which I've mentioned in my last post. ( Example: Intercourse, Photoshooting, Decoration...etc. ) You may ask why? I think it's arguable to say that no brand is perfect. If you're looking for something very individual and expensive like a doll, you also want to learn about weaknesses in my opinion. The strengths are much easier to find out than weaknesses, already because of commercials/promotions etc.
You must know, before I've bought my Miah I've checked many brands, their websites, compared them together, read many owner statements, suggestions and finally found my perfect doll. However, I've also learned from many owners and doll collectors there're even better doll-brands for intercourse than DollSweet. Also, there're brands which have their focus in solid manufacturing but less for posing or intercourse. Personally, I couldn't assess this. But what I could say is, I had an easy decision because I personally can agree with compromises...... and I know what I want.

I've learend DS has weaknesses but still they manufacture "enough" solid dolls, the option "intercourse" wasn't relevant for me and I saw Miah and I simply had to buy her. Easy purchase!

Harem, I also believe there're rational reasons why some brands are more expensive than DollSweet. I could imagine focus in manufacturing a solid doll or a doll for intercourse is more expensive than the focus in manufacturing an unique and "beautiful" appeal. One reason is for sure the requirement, where do you use cheaper and where more expensive materials. Another reason could also be the costs of manufacturing, how much do the employees earn....... etc.
BUT the biggest reason in my opinion is: Appearance/appeal/look of a doll is a question of taste.......... Solidity is customers expectation.

You misunderstand me.

Certainly with regard to the smaller dolls sex might well be a compromise but there are many who rave about their larger DS ladies for such use.

But for the reasons I gave in my post, DS are far from a compromise - they are in a unique position

that other dolls can only envy

that people can relate to

way beyond the confines of the bedroom.

DS dolls might be in the middle of the price range, but they're no compromise.

Thank you all so much for sharing your feelings with us about your girls. Obviously I am not the only guy that feels my girls fill a blank spot in my needs and my life. I was a little depressed before buying my doll and was spending money on junk trying to fill that need in my soul , but honestly, I did not know what that need was. Since buying my first doll, I am finding I feeitl now that I have all I need in my soul, and as a consequence have actually found myself being able to SAVE money for the first time in my life! I look forward to being able to stay home and spend time with my girls. I do not keep my girls a secret, and my closest friends know I own them. I actually think they are a touch jealous. A couple of friends after seeing them are considering purchasing one themselves. Keep the stories coming, we are hearing you and agreeing with you, let it out honestly and share your feelings.

Yes, I agree with you if you only talk about the appeal / look. Just like I always said the appearance of DS dolls is simply unique and your pictures prove that. Miah ( Sakura / Ying head ) is the most beautiful doll worldwide in my opinion. That's why I would never buy another doll or change the brand. Harem, but we also have to admit that we only talk about an emotional, subjective appraisal. We talk about personal perception and feelings. Don't you think?
I could imagine for many people DS dolls or your pictures don't cause this kind of effect just like on us. But it's ok for me. I don't have a problem with that..... And I still love your Chloe picture holding a bottle wine on the beach!

But still you're talking about an aspect which you can't rational evaluate in my opinion.

But a solid construction of a doll (keyword: skeletal system ) , resistance of the silicone (keyword: feet ) or the selection of materials.... you can rational appraise as customer and I think, here is DollSweet a good compromise in my opinion.

The skeleton is not a compromise.

The material is not a compromise.

Current dolls from other manufacturers have no better feet for standing than DS dolls, other than the compromise followed by WM where the solution affects the aesthetic beauty of the under side of feet. Compared with other dolls DS is not a compromise.

Is your glass half full or half empty? Either is not a compromise when one wants to carry the glass and be assured of not spilling the water.

Aesthetically some would say that other dolls have more detail in the cosmetics and in personalisation. For me, and for others who meet my ladies, their realism passes muster. Beyond the DS one goes into an area of the uncanny valley that can as much upset people as attract others.

I think I must agree with Harem. Compromise to me evokes getting less than one wishes for some reason other than choice. Compromise is usually a meeting place between two conflicting desires. If one wants a different doll and buys a DS because the other is too expensive, too fragile, or has other reasons, then it is a compromise. But if out of all dolls available, and one selects the DS because it is the doll they like the best, then it isn't really a compromise.

Having said that perhaps it is best not to split hairs and instead just bask in the glow of mutual adoration of the ladies of Doll Sweet.
