Re: Elfie's Eva
Before you do anything I strongly suggest you at least touch bases with samara78. I can't think of anyone better equiped to help you thru something like this.Elfie wrote:Thanks Elle. Hope I have all necessary tools required for the surgery.
Hope everything works out, I have made many a model and painted many a figure but not sure I would try and tackle surgery, even on a doll, myself.

Just an example of my skill, here is my undergrad thesis for my Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) back in 1998 (the photo was taken after it has been kept underneath my bed for seven years). I designed this research complex facilities and cut this whole thing by hand.

I'm impressed about how the fingers have been designed. Such a design seems innovative and something others might want to incorporate as an option.
I hope you get the chance to fix her knee. That had to be disheartening to receive her in such a state. She's in good hands and has a loving home, so only good can come of this.
Congrats, Elfie. She's beautiful.

Re: Elfie's Eva
Thank you for your kind words. Getting her with a damage condition is not really hurting me. My life has been so tough. This incident is nothing compared to what I have gone through. Thanks to Buddhism, I am aware of the three marks of reality so I never expect anything; just do the right cause to get the consequence I want. Stay mindfully with the present moment in front of me, then there will be no mental sufferings because mental sufferings come from "thoughts". Just replace thoughts with "body sensing" (being aware of the body movement), you will find that your thought is gone.

I noticed that the color sticks on this new silicone better than those previous ones I own but you still can erase it with soap+water. Also, I found that the "paint thinner" is not good on this kind of silicone. It makes the silicone so sticky like the stickiness of a scotch tape. Try avoid using it unless necessary!

Beautiful picture! The colors and the expression! Simply

So far, all photos have been taken from my smartphone. I can see the shift of color toward red in every photo. However, I also took another set of photos with my Nikon camera that gave a more accurate color tones esp. in those skin paint photos. I just need to buy an SD card reader since this function from the camera no longer works after I accidentally dropped it once.
