That's actually one of the first photos I took on her wearing Ellie's mermaid outfit but it is in my camera's SD card. Just be lazy to redo the wearing again (it took me about 30 mins to 1 hour to do each set of my doll photographing). Just wait for my SD card reader!

Polyester is bad for silicone and glitter is impossible to get of the silicone skin and can actually cut your doll if rubbed.

Hi Elfie!

Wonderful thread you have going on here with your adorable lil Eva! I am sorry you were one of those that received a damaged Eve/Eva, but am glad you are so accepting of this "oops".

Eva is absolutely adorable and I love her "blush" body makeover ... really adds to her charm and unique-ness! Great job with the haircut too ... it looks fantastic!

I think I will wait till the operation kit comes from DS. I feel that the more I move her, the more likely the silicone in her waist and knee area will be torn apart due to the internal fractures from broken bones.

Believe it or not! After I became comfortable enough on dissecting her body and sealing her back leaving almost invisible mark, I decided to modify her main engine... lol
Yep! I am modifying her to have a removable vagina! From outside, her entry will look almost the same, just have a longer slit to accommodate the insert. And the insert I chose to fit inside her (after trimming) is the Meiki XYZ.

Seen no reaction from all my polyester satin tests against silicone.

So far, black polyester satin has been the one black material to never stain my silicone sample.

For the glitter part, yah, it's hard to remove but it's not impossible. My technique is to powder the area first before picking up any glitter.
