DS doll mini suspend sales

The more I think about it the more I wonder if this is not the direct result of the change in the box?? I mean those of us in the very first wave of dolls received them in an EXDoll Box - This thing weights a ton and would easily mask a much smaller dolls weight. Plus the box was actually to big for the doll, again hiding it's true size. Throw in the fact that most of these dolls come with their heads of and their boxes are no were near the weight of an EXDoll box. Only issue was UPS handling, a trademark of theirs.

My EXDoll box did not appear to have even been opened, just the cardboard box, I'm guessing whomever assumed it was a bigger doll with just a visual glance and weight and just moved on to the next item.

Now along comes this smaller, lighter box with a one piece (gee I thought all small dolls came with their heads off) and it grabbed someone's attention.

I read that DS recently changed its shipment procedures and is no longer exporting things with proper value declared. Maybe this is what is catching customs attention.

It's possible that could be the case.
Lone I doubt it's the box as the customs agents probably used an x-ray machine to look at the contents. My thoughts on this are mixed and now I'm unsure of my order.

Solution: Ship DS minis in lead panties so they can't see they are sex dolls. It works against superman at least...

Someone got their mini today. It was shipped via DHL and went through Cincinnati instead of Louisville.

What matters are body proportions, bust-waist-hip ratio, and how the dolls are styled (makeup, outfit, and especially context).

Those who already have received their DS Mini, please measure the doll's body proportions with the head units rule. A nowadays human is 7 1/2 (normal) to 8 (idealized) head units tall:

• The body width = 2 heads wide
• Waist = 1 head wide
• Buttocks = 1 1/2 heads wide
• Width of calf muscles together at mid-point = 1 head wide
• Bottom of the knees = 2 heads from ground level

Also remember that according to the DS Mini specs, the B×W×H ratio is 45/47 : 37 : 55. A child would maybe have something like 42 : 40 : 41.

Who do you say "I told you so" after you were very vocal about the choice of UPS as a bad decision. Now that DHL has shown that it is and can be done without any BS or fanfare, just biz as usual, I had to either scream or vent, polity of course.

So I called my UPS Recovery Agent (nice job title, name and number upon request), whom I have talked to at least 3 times, didn't remember me of course.

Gave my number, got the same answer, customs. I asked her if the Kentucky facility was just UPS's and she said yes (that's a good thing to know). Then I told her how they switched to using DHL and were giving door to door service in 3 days. How is that possible? She said she had no idea and they also used US Customs. I said that's exactly my point! She then said that she understood my need to vent a little but she was busy with 40 lost shipments. I said, well that's also exactly my point, talk to you on 7/1 - that will be 30 days.

I don't know that the box had anything to do with passing customs. My Eve was held by the "clearing agency" for about 6 days in China. Then to Anchorage, AL and then on to KY. She passed straight through KY without any customs problems just a week before dolls starting getting held up. Maybe it's because she is a Eve? I don't know. Here is how she looked when I opened the box.

After talking to UPS, emails with DS and all the posts here with tidbits of real info, it appears that all of the remaining DS Minies in motion have come to a dead stop and I can count at least 4 TDF members with their dolls in Kentucky.

1 - Eva / Tan - was released after a week.
2. - Eva / Pink - Taken as child porn
3 - Eve / Pink - Day #14 - no letter no doll no change
4. - Lahfan1970 doll (not sure what configuration) - Day #14 - no letter no doll no change

Mine is an Eva / Pink.

It's jus bizarre that one be seized and one released. I guess there are no tan children anywhere?
