I agree with DarkOne, the length from vagina to mouth.
At my height anyway, it makes for some different experiences with my 160+ and 167.

will she be this year's silicone version of the victoria's secret angels?

do you use the closet as the permanent storage for your dolls
the dolls' armpits and thigh pits are folded due to the small space in the closet leaving no room for the arms and legs to spread
this could leave permanent fold marks on the pelvis joints (especially with DS they have exceptionally soft skin comparing to other dolls) and also prone to tearing in the long run
(you could see pics of second hand dolls with large tear marks on their pelvis joints and armpits in auction sites like http://www.dollmate.jp/)

thanks for the extra pics, they both look great, i love the 163.. feel free to post more

particularly of the 163 sitting down, i kinda wanna get a better idea of what her legs look like in a sitting position. I have my doll coming soon so just trying to get a better idea of what to expect.
