145 no longer on US site?

That's really a pity.
DS 145- with Ruby head was one of my favorite doll combo in the 140/150 cm range.
Probably the standard 145 and the 145- will now become quite requested in the second hand market.

I got a response from John.

He told me they removed the 145 - and 145 cm bodies from their website but this concerns the US market only.
You can still place an order by email to him or place the order from their european resellers.

I have a longtime partnership with DS Dolls (i was the first guy on this forum to order a doll from them) and as far as i'm concerned, i keep on selling all the dolls you can see on the ArteTokio site, even dolls you don't see anymore on the DS US site.

The customs letter posted on TDF so far actually claimed "Small sized doll" and nothing about its perceived age.

Mind you, all customs issues have been from 1 state and none of it has gone through the legal system yet. I truly hope some sensible judge gets wind of this and tells the customs agent to stop being a dick.

So really, it could just be 1 guy/girl with a hangup about dolls in general. It wouldn't be the first time customs has lashed out at dolls illegally. (See: Deliberate damage to dolls during customs inspection.. Like the one who got her nipple sliced off)

Personally I find the whole breast size thing weird. Because whats 'small breasts' for a doll, is practically regular sized breasts for a real women!

the 145+ looks about like under 3% of the 20~50 year old women breast size.

And then you get all this shit in the media about how women have to be huge breasted to be attractive and get anything they want from a man, women who are insecure about their breast size in real life, women who undergo expensive, dangerous surgery to increase breast size... And now men shamed as pedophiles for daring to say they don't actually like beach ball sized breasts and want something that corresponds to women he might actually meet in life!

All a bunch of social bullshit that does not properly correspond to real world desires of people yet people have been trained to recite without even knowing what the words mean anymore, much like a parrot does.

Social norms piss me off.

I agree with you. To keep beautiful propotions a 145cm small woman cannot have C or D cup. It's simply unaesthetic in my opinion. And just like harvey48 already said, bigger breasts don't make a doll look older neither real women. I'm not an american, I'm from germany and also our country has many issues with legislation. Just like every country in the world. But we don't have any problems with kind of mindset like this.

I hope the american can change the customs issues someday because they're truly non-rational.

Problem is a 145 goes for a lot more money in Euros and thats a lot of U.S. dollars. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thinks it's like 3,700.00 in U.S. dollars?
