My DS 145 sKayla is coming home!

Hello everyone,

This morning I woke up and immediately I received an email with a very happy message...
It was John of DS telling me that my first doll is completed and ready for shipping!
She was ordered late in the evening on Friday the 10th and confirmed the 11th, so I only had to wait 12 days for completion!
Tomorrow begins her journey home… ...she'll be traveling by TNT...

Her specs are:

-body: 145cm
-head: sKayla
-eyes: Brown
-skin: LPink
-joints: Tight
-hand: Bones
-nails: Nail
-pubes: No Fur
-wig: BLong

I found this combination truly stunning, and it seems perfect for a first doll.

I can barely contain the excitement, knowing she’ll be on her way soon!
At least the time till then can be spent preparing/buying all things necessary for her arrival.

Congratulation MushMonster
now comes the most difficult part...waiting for her arrival
but the moment you open the box after she arrived your doorstep you'll know it's all worth it

Interesting note that DS now ship their doll with a sleeping bag protecting the doll from the polyester foams' scratch
good to see they now finally addressed this issue

Btw depending on the customs and import tax in your country...because DS doesn't have export license, they usually declare their dolls at much lower value for shipping
As a result a number of members in TDF (myself included) have attracted customs attention hence delay (it was a pain in the ass experience having to communicate with the shipping company and customs back and forth)
so you might wanna check with DS first on the shipment's declared value before they ship your girl out...

It's quite unfortunate that DS suspended the 145cm bodies. You got her just in time, very lucky.

Hi all,

Update... She arrived today! So it took only 4 days of shipping.
But although it wasn't all that long it was still one of the most nerve-wrecking couple of days... especially when my dad was coming home unexpectedly today and I wasn't contacted by TNT, so I only knew they would deliver before 6:00 PM and my dad would be here about 3:00 PM.
But fortunately she arrived about half an hour before him, so I did not have to do the introductions!

The shipping went almost as perfect as can be, with only two small dents on the box. Nothing significant, luckily non of the horror stories I have read...

But unfortunately she was too tired from traveling and she didn't want any more pictures taken before she had a shower and some time for relaxing and getting to know each other...

After my first moments with her I just got to say: WOW!
She is absolutely stunning to look at, she feels great and her size is quite easy to maneuver and move around, but she still appears full-grown and adult-like.

The pictures are taken with my phone, since my camera apparently died in the years it wasn't used...


After the shower and some powdering she let me take one more picture to say bye... for now...

If you really want one, the European vendors are still selling, it's only suspended from the English site.
I'm quite interested to see how they are going about the upgrades... but I do consider myself lucky having bought her when I did.
