DS website say 37 kg/81,9 lbs.

I've been unable to resist temptation any longer and have asked DS if they can incorporate a bolt in the foot as other manufacturers to enable this doll to stand . . .

DS are such perfectionists they don't like this solution as it's often not very pretty . . . but they've indicated willingness to do it for me.

Is anyone else interested in such a factory modification so as to enable this doll to stand?

It's partly for photography but also helpful in dressing where a doll who's able to stand on her feet is easier to handle.

Having recently come across another manufacturer's doll specified at 30kg and actually arriving at even more of the weight of the DS167, I'm no longer worried about the extra weight of this lady and the more I see other dolls the more I'm convinced of DS' superiority.

Other manufacturers are making strides and getting appropriate accolades for introducing real shaped ladies but in my view the DS167 is one of the most elegant and credible figures of all.
