My DS Mini Also Has Broken Back

Much to my dismay I now have a DS Mini with a broken back (like there isn't already a legion of TDF members posting this same issue).

I sent my formal request to DS / John for the required parts.

Thanks! At least she is already in the surgeon's hands, had to replace her right thigh also.

I won't be accepting further shipments of ds minis for repair because they do not survive shipping too well.

Ouch. Well I would like to note its likely the back joint was already damaged by the first shipment. Mines back joint seemed OK but broke after just a few days of very light posing by just carefully picking the doll up. No snap, no hard force, just all of a sudden failed.

I was close to pulling the trigger on one of these a few months ago. Glad I didn't do it.

Not sure when she was ordered, linux_tyro was her 1st owner. This is a picture of her in the box when opened with nothing in there but her poor little twisted body.

She was a pre order. And apologies to my friend Lone Ranger. I only knew of the leg being broken. Only handled her to shoot video for John and to pack her up for you. Sorry this has happened.

DS had been making great dolls prior to this release. It is an unfortunate setback for them.

No oligopolies needed, I was pretty sure that her little cheap plastic spine was cracked when you got her. It is a testament to your packing that she allowed me to wash her and snap a few pictures sitting up. I had a sense she was off balance and leaning to one side, was scary. , so I am glad that she is Sam's hands when it had snapped all the way and the new part is nylon - might even have the pin upgrade, so stronger is good.
