Faces for 145cm Upgrade

Hey boyz,

I was revisiting the thread on the discontinuation/upgrade of the 145cm doll in hopes for some news on it.
I didn't get through the whole thread - my impression is that DS is still in process of upgrades aiming for more mature looking faces due to dolls being seized at customs. If that's still the case...

I thought it was cool when Ddwyerstar posted a face suggestion.
might be cool to bat around some ideas for fun!
and who knows...if DS drops by, might spark some ideas.
Please the DS fans cmon!!

Here's 3 for a start.
It's hard to select from some of my favorites, but these are the ones I can think of so far that have a cuter softer face more suited to the 145.

Very nice!! I especially like Danielle Sharp.

I think retired, petite porn star, Candace Mia's, face would look incredibly nice on a 145.

Don't even know who Ashely Benson is, but if a girl looking like this aproached me I would totally lose my shit and start malfunctioning.

Hello, the DS 145 and 145 Plus dolls are available for sale in the US through Doll To. DS says the Ruby, SSandy, SKayla, April heads look mature and should pose no import issues. Furthermore, Doll To uses our own shipping company and we have imported many dolls from other brands of similar size with no issue.

Cool. Obviously vendors can't mimic faces exactly, but perhaps after a good handful of contributions, I can reach out to John at DS to take a peek. Extra ideas can't hurt, especially when DS's strength lies in the absolute beauty in the faces. But this isn't to say the bodies are lacking at all either. We just really want another addition to the family - really can't wait until something is announced for 145.

Actually hope they bring back Ying/Sakura. To me it doesn't look too young, but that's just me.
I really love the Ying face and how well it looks with the 145. Actually want a 145-

At any rate......I've got a lot more coming, but let's switch gears a bit. I know they're not real examples, but CG is fair game, as they can be great representations of what beauty COULD be.

Marie Rose from Dead or Alive.
anyone familiar with DOA would know that Marie Rose is the only addition that aims for this petite look. I'm aiming for these very soft looking faces.
The image is great too for a good feel for the body merging with this kind of face, as she's very 145- like.

Lady Hayakawa from Samurai Warriors
Similar soft look. There isn't a side profile pic, but this cute nose big eyes kind of approach brings a that soft look I'm talking about without making the face look too young. This can be achieved by experimenting with how much bridge the nose has. Here to me, the way Hayakawa is designed looks fresh and beautiful in a fair-lady-like innocent kind of way without looking overly young.
I think it's these kinds of sweet spots that DS can/should be aiming towards.

I like Ying, but her mouth doesn't open, does it? That's sort of weird. If it did, that's be great. I really liked the old Fei head, but I guess that's not around anymore. I would *love* if they made an SThera for the 145.

I love this subject, Danielle Sharp and Ashley Benson are GREAT pics, both have stunningly cute faces, but we must get away from STAR faces, because of the liability of copying known faces, they would never recreate known stars faces, (though if you will notice, the Tong head looks a lot like Taylor Swift), and look for faces without STAR recognition, faces that shine because of their features alone.

nice one!! I agree. That face is close to a 10/10 for me.

I understand for sure that celeb faces can't be copied. But these kinds of submissions even if they are celeb faces could just serve as a common point for DS to pay attention to (or "study"). It's just the general facial features to recreate or mimic.
Man I really wonder what DS is cooking up. I can't wait.
